Sun Pharmaceuticals and Taro Pharmaceuticals
Claim-filing deadline: May 6, 2024
Per this lawsuit, two drug manufacturing companies conspired to fix the prices for over 150 generic medications, causing patients to overspend.
Sun Pharmaceuticals and Taro Pharmaceuticals settled for a combined total of $85 million, though it’s unclear how much individual claimants will receive.
Note that this lawsuit pertains to those who purchased the medications directly, not those who repurchased them from pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS.
Gannon University
Claim-filing deadline: May 8, 2024
Gannon University, a private religious college located in Pennsylvania, allegedly overcharged students who paid tuition for the spring 2020 semester during the height of COVID-19 school closures.
If you were enrolled at Gannon University no later than March 16, 2020, and paid tuition and fees for the spring 2020 semester, you could qualify for a portion of the $1.1 million settlement.
Haemonetics
Claim-filing deadline: May 9, 2024
Did you have your finger scanned before donating plasma in the state of Illinois between February 4, 2016, and February 8, 2024?
If so, the medical tech company Haemonetics may have broken the law by collecting your biometric data, and you could be entitled to anywhere from $250 to $570.

Robinhood
Claim-filing deadline: May 13, 2024
Robinhood, the popular stock-trading and cryptocurrency app, allegedly sent text messages to individuals in Washington who hadn’t opted in to receive such text messages in advance.
If you live in Washington State and received a promotional, unsolicited Robinhood text between August 2017 and February 2024, you may be owed up to $90.
Chicago Cubs
Claim-filing deadline: May 14, 2024
The Chicago Cubs marketing team allegedly continued to send texts marketing their merchandise to customers who had already responded to a text with “stop” to opt-out. The Cubs settled for around $1.2 million, and each beneficiary is expected to receive up to $300.
UnitedHealthcare
Claim-filing deadline: May 20, 2024
The medical insurance company UnitedHealthcare allegedly denied liposuction claims when the procedure was provided as treatment for lipedema, a medical condition that causes fat to build up in the lower half of the body.
If you paid for liposuction out of pocket after UnitedHealthcare denied your insurance claim, you could be entitled to a cash reward as a result of the settlement.
If you weren’t able to schedule the procedure because UnitedHealthcare denied your initial claim, the suit allows you to resubmit the claim for reconsideration.
LasikPlus and Joffee MediCenter
Claim-filing deadline: May 20, 2024
According to the FTC, LasikPlus and Joffee MediCenter engaged in bait-and-switch marketing by advertising a $300 Lasik corrective surgery to prospective customers.
However, when customers arrived on-site for a consultation, most of them received a quote for up to $2,295 for the surgery (totaling more than $4,000 for both eyes).
If you found yourself in this situation and said no to Lasik surgery after being drawn in by false advertising, you could qualify for a portion of the $1.25 million settlement.
Georgia Geico
Claim-filing deadline: May 20, 2024
Are you a Georgia resident with Geico automobile insurance? Did you file a total loss insurance claim between 2014 and 2019? If so, Geico’s insurance payout might not have included title ad valorem tax (TAVT), a Georgia tax payment based on the car’s title.
Beneficiaries in this suit should receive a cash payment equivalent to the missing taxes on their original insurance claim.
Vasona Management
Claim-filing deadline: May 25, 2024
According to this suit brought against property management company Vasona by the California Civil Rights Department, Vasona illegally discriminated against tenants with children.
Per the suit, the company banned children under 14 from using their properties’ pools and other facilities without direct supervision from a parent, which constitutes a violation of anti-discrimination law. Valid claimants could receive a cash payment from the settlement.

Visa/Mastercard
Claim-filing deadline: May 31, 2024
Did you own a business that accepted Visa and Mastercard payments between January 2004 and January 2019? This lawsuit alleges that Visa, Mastercard, and their member banks illegally conspired to charge merchants extra fees for payment acceptance.
If you have a valid claim in the suit, you should have received a notice informing you of your eligibility between December 2023 and January 2024. The deadline to file your claim is May 31, 2024.
