Vancouver is a thriving seaport city with active art, theatre, and music scenes. Its close proximity to temperate rain forests and mountains also provides tourists endless hiking opportunities and access to natural wonders.

BC Place is home to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer (U.S. professional soccer league) and the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (Canadian professional football league). The Vancouver Canucks are a professional hockey team in the area. However, their home venue is across the street in Rogers Arena. The passion for Vancouver sports teams is palpable. The locals have a lot of love for their teams, and it is worth attending any of the home games to get a feel of how passionate the fan base is in Vancouver.

The transit system in Vancouver is Translink. It offers both bus and rail (called SkyLink) services across Vancouver. The Stadium-Chinatown station is the closest terminal to BC Place, with an estimated 7-minute walk from the station to the stadium. Renting a car or using a rideshare service are also viable ways to navigate Vancouver.

Cool and humid conditions characterize most days during the summer in Vancouver. Even though there are around 16 hours of sunlight each day in June, temperatures remain on the cool side with the influence of the marine layer keeping conditions cool and humid. There may be a few showers here and there.

Los Angeles

  • Venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California

    • Friday, July 10, 2026: Match 98 (Quarter-Final)

Located in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, SoFi Stadium first opened in 2020 and is home to NFL team, the L.A. Chargers. While it has a capacity to accommodate 70,240 fans, it can be expanded to over 100,000 for major events. To get to the stadium, you can either drive or take the Metro to the SoFi Stadium stop, and it's a 4-minute walk from there.

Sports fans have numerous home teams to root for. There's the L.A. Dodgers (MLB), Lakers (NBA), Clippers (NBA), Kings (NHL), Rams (NFL), and Chargers (NFL). And for soccer fans, L.A. has both the Galaxy and Los Angeles FC.

Los Angeles is a desirable destination due to its gorgeous weather of year-round sunny, mild temperatures and little rain, its diverse communities, world-class dining, and wide sandy beaches along the Pacific. Home to Hollywood, it's the entertainment capital of the world. When in this vibrant, electric city, you'll never run out of things to see or do.

San Francisco Bay Area

  • Venue: Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, California
  • Local airport: Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK)
  • Match dates:
    • Saturday, June 13, 2026: Match 8 (Group Stage)
    • Tuesday, June 16, 2026: Match 20 (Group Stage)
    • Friday, June 19, 2026: Match 31 (Group Stage)
    • Monday, June 22, 2026: Match 44 (Group Stage)
    • Thursday, June 25, 2026: Match 60 (Group Stage)
    • Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Match 81 (Round of 32)

San Francisco is a thriving city that offers a wide range of food, art, and cultural activities. It sits directly between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, with the marine layer influencing the relatively cool and humid summer-time conditions.

Levi's Stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers (NFL). Other professional teams in the area include the San Francisco Giants (MLB), Golden State Warriors (NBA), San Jose Sharks (NHL) and the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS). Each team has its own venue where home games are played. Given the myriad of professional teams in the area, the sports energy in the city is very high. Feeling the passion the locals have for their teams is an unforgettable experience.

The transit system in San Francisco is the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). It's also known by the nickname "Muni". Since Levi's Stadium is in Santa Clara, there is no easy access from the "Muni". However, the Valley Transit Authority (VTA) offers rail service to Levi's Stadium from South Bay locations such as San Jose and Santa Clara. Renting a car or utilizing a rideshare service should also suffice to get around the Bay Area.

Seattle

  • Venue: Lumen Field, Seattle, Washington
  • Local airport: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
  • Match dates:
    • Monday, June 15. 2026: Match 16 (Group Stage)

    • Friday, June 26, 2026: Match 63 (Group Stage)
    • Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Match 82 (Round of 32)
    • Monday, July 6, 2026: Match 94 (Round of 16)

Seattle is a magnificent city in the Pacific Northwest. It has earned the nickname "The Emerald City" due to the lush greenery in the surrounding areas. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean means cool and humid summers due to the influence of the marine layer. Seattle is host to a diverse array of art, music, and cultural festivities.

Lumen Field is the home field to the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Sounders FC (MLS). Other professional sports teams in the city are the Seattle Mariners (MLB) and the Seattle Kraken (NHL). Each of these teams has its own stadium where it plays home games. The sports energy in Seattle is vibrant. It's very apparent while attending a Seahawks game, where the team often calls upon the "12th Man" (a.k.a. the fans) to assist during gameplay. The roar of the crowd often distracts the opposing team from making big plays.

The transit system in Seattle is called SoundTransit. Light rails, trains, and express buses make up this service. The King Street stop is the train terminal nearest to Lumen Field, which is only a 4-minute walk from the stadium. Renting a car or utilizing a rideshare service should also suffice to get around Seattle.
