McDonald's

The golden arches sell 6.5 million burgers every day, according to Investing, so it's undeniable that people love them, despite McDonald's being consistently ranked as the worst burger on places like Reddit.

In 2025, the company launched the "Best Burger Initiative" in an attempt to increase popularity, which included changes such as a juicier Quarter Pounder with baked-in onions that increase the caramelization flavor, and softer, fluffier buns that are toasted to a golden brown. The price tag on this upgraded burger experience is $8.39 for just the sandwich.

Culver's

In the American Midwest, Culver's reigns supreme with its ButterBurger. Their secret is fresh, never frozen beef and a lightly buttered and toasted bun. A single-patty burger costs just $4.49, but the downside is that it's only available in 26 states.

Those traveling through the Midwest may want to give the burger a try, and maybe throw in some of their fresh frozen custard for a sweet treat. They'd be ranked higher if the rest of the states could munch on the burgers, too.
