Tesla Model Y

Also topping the list is the Tesla Model Y. It made up 5.9% of 1- to 5-year-old used EV and hybrid sales during 2024.

The Model Y can travel 337 miles on full charge and recharge up to 170 miles of range at a Tesla Supercharger in just 15 minutes.

The electric SUV also features two trunks and has a 3,500-pound towing capacity, making it a versatile option for various lifestyles.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

The Toyota RAV4 hybrid accounted for 5.8% of 1- to 5-year-old used EV and hybrid sales in the U.S. last year.

The hybrid gets up to 41 miles per gallon in the city and 38 on the highway, making it a viable alternative for consumers hesitant to purchase an all-electric car.

Ford F-150 (hybrid)

Honda CR-V Hybrid

The compact crossover has a hybrid powertrain capable of producing 204 horsepower and offers plenty of zip when drivers hit the pedal. Its impressive EPA fuel economy rating of 37 miles per gallon combined can give CR-V hybrid owners major savings at the pump.

Honda Accord Hybrid

Last year, the Honda Accord hybrid accounted for 2.9% of 1- to 5-year-old used EV and hybrid sales.

This hybrid is a smart, practical family sedan. It gets an estimated 44 miles per gallon combined and is an excellent choice for consumers looking for a vehicle with stellar fuel efficiency.

Surprisingly, this is where Honda's run on the list ends. One name we expected to see, but didn't, is the Honda Civic Hybrid. Given its long-standing popularity, 10-year presence in the hybrid market, and the fact that Car and Driver gave it a perfect 10/10 rating this year, it's a notable omission.

Toyota Highlander Hybrid
