With an EPA-estimated range of 363 miles and the ability to recharge up to 195 miles of range in 15 minutes, this vehicle is ideal for consumers worried about “range anxiety.”

Tesla Model Y

Also topping the list is the Tesla Model Y. It made up 5.9% of 1- to 5-year-old used EV and hybrid sales during 2024.

The Model Y can travel 337 miles on full charge and recharge up to 170 miles of range at a Tesla Supercharger in just 15 minutes.

The electric SUV also features two trunks and has a 3,500-pound towing capacity, making it a versatile option for various lifestyles.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

The Toyota RAV4 hybrid accounted for 5.8% of 1- to 5-year-old used EV and hybrid sales in the U.S. last year.

The hybrid gets up to 41 miles per gallon in the city and 38 on the highway, making it a viable alternative for consumers hesitant to purchase an all-electric car.
