The Toyota Tacoma was the 10th-most-popular used car in the United States last year, according to the iSeeCars study. This reliable pickup truck accounted for 1.5% of one-to-five-year-old used car sales in the country last year.
And although the Toyota Tacoma fell from its 2024 ranking of sixth place, it was still the fourth-most-popular truck in the United States in 2025.
Toyota Corolla
Average price: $17,026
The Toyota Corolla was the ninth-most-popular used car in the United States in 2025, according to iSeeCars' data. This sturdy sedan also accounted for 1.5% of one-to-five-year-old used car sales in the country last year.
The Toyota Corolla moved up two spots on the list in 2025, after finishing 11th in 2024. Among used sedans, the Toyota Corolla was the third-most-popular in the United States last year and the most popular vehicle overall in the entire state of Florida.
Chevrolet Malibu
Average price: $16,188
This American sedan accounted for 1.5% of 2025's one-to-five-year-old used car sales, making it the eighth-most-popular car in the U.S.
The recently discontinued Chevrolet Malibu saw a tremendous surge in its popularity last year; it was only the 29th most popular used car in the United States in 2024.
According to iSeeCars, the Malibu's surge in popularity is likely due to car-rental companies selling off these models from their fleets in the wake of its cancellation last year.

The Explorer saw a slight uptick in popularity, moving up one spot on the list after ranking as the eighth-most-popular used vehicle in the United States in 2024.
Toyota Camry

According to iSeeCars, this famously reliable sedan accounted for 1.7% of 2025's one-to-five-year-old used car sales. That makes it the sixth-most-popular used car in the U.S. last year.
The Toyota Camry dropped by one place in 2025's rankings, after ranking fifth in 2024. It was the most popular used sedan for both 2024 and 2025, and the most popular used vehicle in the state of California.
Nissan Rogue
Average price: $19,382
The Nissan Rogue was the fifth-most-popular used car in the United States in 2025, though in 2024, the Nissan Rogue finished seventh overall in their ranking. This SUV accounted for 1.7% of one-to-five-year-old used car sales.
It was also the second most popular used SUV in the United States in both 2024 and 2025.
Chevrolet Equinox
Average price: $18,845
In fourth place, the Chevrolet Equinox accounted for 1.8% of one to five-year-old used car sales in 2025. Its popularity stayed the same from 2024 to 2025, ranking fourth a year prior as well.
RAM 1500
Average price: $29,221
Based on iSeeCars' study, the RAM 1500 was the third-most-popular used vehicle in the United States last year. This powerful American pickup truck accounted for 1.8% of one-to-five-year-old used car sales.
Its popularity did not change from 2024, when it was also the third-most-popular used vehicle.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Average price: $32,220
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was the second most popular used vehicle in the United States during 2025, according to the iSeeCars study.
This rugged American pickup truck accounted for 2.5% of one-to-five-year-old used car sales last year. Its ranking did not change year-over-year from 2024 to 2025.

According to iSeeCars, the F-150's decline in popularity is likely due to the increasing size, functionality, and fuel efficiency of recent SUVs.
