These 24 Cities Are Getting a Boot Barn in 2025 (Is Yours One?)

Calling all cowgirls and cowboys: Boot Barn is expanding and has plans to increase their store footprint to 900 locations nationwide. And while they only planned to add about 70 new stores in 2025, that would bring their store footprint up to about 530 stores.

But just how do they plan to achieve this? As many American families worry about how to save money on essentials in the face of unprecedented tariffs, Boot Barn plans to mitigate tariffs by raising prices on third-party brands. Reportedly, exclusive brands account for approximately 35% of their sales, which, when combined with an overall 15% sales increase, supports their expansion plans.

So, see if you'll be getting a new Boot Barn in your area this year. In addition to the specific locations below, the company has reported eight other stores planned for 2026.

• Chandler (November 2025)
• Metrocenter-Phoenix (November 2025)
• Green Valley-Sahuarita (December 2025)

Arizona will see a new Boot Barn in November for Chandler residents, as well as a new store in Metrocenter-Phoenix. A Green Valley-Sahuarita location will follow in December.

• Merced: 310 Merced Mall (Oct. 14)
• Huntington Beach (November 2025)
• Indio: 42800 Jackson Ave. (November 2025)

Merced Mall has been under development for several years and is finally reaching the end stages with the demolition of a former Sears location that will bring a Burlington Coat Factory, Ulta, Petco, Five Below, Carter's, and Bath and Body Works, along with the new Boot Barn store. The Huntington Beach location will open shortly after, in November.

• Royal Palm Beach (December 2025)
• Sanford: Seminole Towne Center (December 2025)

The Royal Palm Beach area will get its new Boot Barn in December, but very little else is known about the location yet. Sanford will also see a new location in December, replacing a Party City that was shuttered due to the company's bankruptcy.

• Warner Robins: 2951 Watson Blvd. (Oct. 7)

The new Boot Barn is moving into the old Joann Fabrics location and is scheduled to open on Oct. 7.

• East Peoria (November 2025)
• Normal: 1700 E. College Ave. (December 2025)

Boot Barn is relocating to The Levee District, a mixed-use development that will also feature a Best Buy and a 137-room hotel, along with city offices and the public library, which is expected to open in November. Later in December, another location is expected to open in Normal.

• Louisville: 5073 Shelbyville Road (October 2025)

Boot Barn is bringing a third location to the Louisville area and is moving into a former Designer Shoe Warehouse this October, across from Mall St. Matthews.

• Everett (December 2025)

A new Boot Barn is expected to open in Everett in December, and according to LinkedIn posts, they are currently hiring. A store manager position was posted early in September and has fewer than 25 applicants (so far).

• Bridgewater: Somerset County Shopping Center (October 2025)
• Jersey City: Hudson Commons (December 2025)

New Jersey's newest Boot Barn in Bridgewater is scheduled to open in October and will be the state's seventh location. In December, another location in Jersey City will follow, taking over a space previously occupied by Kid City.

• Hobbs: 2200 N. Grimes St. (Oct. 14)

Hobbs is quietly getting a new Boot Barn on Oct. 14, and according to ZipRecruiter, they are still hiring for an additional seven job positions.

• Riverhead (December 2025)

Riverhead will be getting its new Boot Barn in December, but very little information has been released about the new location so far.

• Stroudsburg (December 2025)

Boot Barn is coming to Stroudsburg in December. According to job board postings, this location recently hired a store manager. Glassdoor estimates the pay range to be between $38,000 and $54,000 annually, so look out for other jobs as the opening date approaches.

• Murfreesboro: 1923 Old Fort Parkway (Oct. 7)

The new Boot Barn is scheduled to open on Oct. 7 and will be occupying a 20,010-square-foot Location at Towne Center.

• Cedar Park (November 2025)
• Plano (December 2025)

A new Boot Barn is coming to Plano, right where Party City used to be. The Western apparel company currently has 90 locations in Texas, and construction on the new store is set to begin on Nov. 24. This seems to make the reported opening date of December less likely, and currently, completion is estimated by February 2026, at this point.

• Fredericksburg: 1280 Carl D Silver Parkway (Oct. 7)
• Midlothian: 301 Perimeter Dr. (October 2025)

Fredericksburg's new Boot Barn is set to open on Oct. 7. The Midlothian store will be the first Chesterfield location, and is occupying a space that was formerly a miniature golf venue and sometimes a Spirit Halloween.

• Burlington (October 2025)

Not much information has been released about the new Burlington location, except that it is expected to open in October.

Western apparel appears to be experiencing an uptick in popularity, a trend that Boot Barn believes can fuel its expansion plans for new stores this year, along with an additional 400 stores over the next few years.
