These 17 Cities Are About To Get a Buc-ee’s!

Buc-ee's has a cult-like following for its brisket sandwiches and clean bathrooms.

The Texas-based retail chain has been expanding this year with new locations cropping up across the country. Will one of these spots have you spending money with your best cash back credit cards for brisket?

Here's where you can expect to find a new Buc-ee's.

Fort Pierce, Florida

Florida will be getting its fourth Buc-ee's with a new location in Fort Pierce.

Plans for the location at I-95 and Indrio Road include a 76,245-square-foot building and a towering sign. The county's commissioners had to change county rules to accommodate the 100-foot-tall sign.

It is expected to open next year.

West Memphis, Arkansas

While the city has not disclosed an opening date, officials anticipate that construction will break ground in the near future. Originally planned for a 2026 opening, that has been pushed back to June 2028.

The planned 74,000-square-foot complex is expected to feature 120 gas pumps and generate approximately 225 new jobs. 

Murfreesboro, Tennessee

The facility is planned for the Joe B. Jackson interchange off I-24 and will cover over 70,000 square feet. It will include 120 fuel pumps, electric vehicle charging stations, and a walking trail.

To support anticipated traffic increases, the company is also making infrastructure improvements along Butler Drive and Joe B. Jackson Parkway. Buc-ee's is collaborating with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) on roadway enhancements leading to the site. It is expected to open by December. 

 

Lafayette, Louisiana

According to the news release, the Lafayette Buc-ee's, which is projected to open in mid-2027, will be located at the corner of Louisiana Avenue and I-10. The facility is set to span more than 74,000 square feet and include around 120 gas pumps. It's also expected to bring approximately 150 jobs to the area, with starting pay beginning at $17 per hour.

Gallaway, Tennessee

Buc-ee's recently broke ground on a new location in Gallaway near Interstate 40 and Tennessee 196.

The new location will have 74,000 square feet of space and 120 fueling positions, so you'll have plenty of options to fill up. It's expected to open in 2027.

Oak Grove, Kentucky

Oak Grove's city council approved plans for a new Buc-ee's to go in its city. The new store will be off Interstate 24 and Pembroke-Oak Grove Road and is expected to open in 2027 or later due to delays.

The company has not broken ground yet, but it will be the third Kentucky location for Buc-ee's, which also has locations in Richmond and Smiths Grove.

Monroe County, Georgia

The upcoming Buc-ee's will be constructed just off I-75 at Rumble Road, conveniently located before the I-475 split for those traveling south toward Macon and Savannah. The groundbreaking was hosted on April 7. 

The development will encompass a 74,000-square-foot facility set on a 30-acre property. With plans for over 100 fuel pumps, the site is designed to offer ample fueling capacity for both commuters and long-distance travelers. The opening date is tentatively set for summer 2027. 

Goodyear, Arizona

It will be a good year when Buc-ee's opens its new location in Goodyear, Arizona.

The company has started work on the location along Interstate 10. The grand opening for the 74,000-square-foot store is set for June 22.

Ruston, Louisiana

Ruston recently broke ground on the construction of the infrastructure to accommodate the new Buc-ee's along I-20. It will include over 100 fuel pumps.

The city expects the new location to open sometime in 2027.

Benton, Arkansas

Plans have been approved for Benton, Arkansas, to get a new Buc-ee's location. Last year, the company officially broke ground on the store. Originally, the company projected a September 2026 opening date, but that has been moved up to August.

The new convenience store, which will be located off Interstate 30, is expected to be the first Buc-ee's store in the state.

Boerne, Texas

Buc-ee's is moving ahead with its new location in Boerne on Interstate 10 at the U.S. Business 87 intersection. The company estimates that work will be completed and it will be ready to open later this year.

Mebane, North Carolina

Buc-ee's plans to expand into new states, with a location opening in Mebane along Interstate 40, with construction already underway.

It's estimated that the store, which will include 74,000 square feet of retail space, fuel pumps, and electric charging stations, could open in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Oak Creek, Wisconsin

When the new Buc-ee's opens in Oak Creek, it will be the first for the state of Wisconsin. The city's planning commission approved the plans for the location last year.

The store would be at the southwest corner of I-94 and Elm Road. The company hopes to open the location in early 2027.

San Marcos, Texas

The location in San Marcos, Texas, is projected to open in July of 2026. The 74,000-square-foot travel center will become part of a network of more than 50 locations across the country and will feature over 100 fuel pumps at its southwest corner location at Yarrington Road and IH-35.

Kansas City, Kansas

A new Buc-ee's has been confirmed for Kansas City, Kansas, with an expected opening in late 2027 near the Kansas Speedway. The location will include 120 fuel pumps.

Ocala, Florida

The location will sit just off I-75 at the new NW 49th Street interchange and is expected to open in 2028 alongside the completion of the interchange, featuring a 74,000-square-foot store and 120 fueling stations.

Hardeeville, South Carolina

A Buc-ee's is planned for Hardeeville, South Carolina, at Exit 8 off I-95 as part of the larger Hardee Station mixed-use development, with an opening targeted for around 2031.
