Costco Has Recalled These 8 Items in the Last 4 Months

Goal Zero is voluntarily recalling its Yeti 3000X Portable Power Station, sold at Costco as part of Yeti 3000X bundles under item numbers 1507511, 2507511, 1614576, and 1644157 between November 2020 and August 2026. The power stations can overheat, creating a serious burn and fire hazard, although Goal Zero says no injuries have been reported.

Customers should stop using the power station immediately and install the free Yeti 3000X firmware update through the Goal Zero app. The update serves as the recall repair, so customers do not need to return the product to Costco. Hardie's Fresh Foods recalled 5-pound bags of jalapeño peppers sold at Costco stores in Dallas and Stafford, Texas, because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected peppers were produced between July 11 and July 22, 2026, and customers are advised not to eat them and to return them to Costco for a full refund.

Champion Foods recalled certain batches of Motor City Pizza Co. 5 Cheese Bread, sold at Costco and other major retailers nationwide, due to potential Salmonella contamination in a seasoning ingredient. The recall affects specific single- and double-pack products with best-by dates from February through April 2027. No illnesses have been reported, but customers with affected products should not eat them.

The USDA issued a public health alert for Red's Steak Cilantro and Lime Burritos sold at Costco because they contain egg that is not declared on the label, posing a potentially serious risk to people with egg allergies. The affected burritos were produced on June 19, 2026, and shipped to Costco locations in Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota.

A formal recall was not issued because the burritos were no longer being sold, but officials warned that customers may still have them in their freezers. No adverse reactions had been reported, and customers with affected burritos should throw them away or return them to the store where they were purchased.

California Innovations recalled the Titan Pro 40 Can Soft Sided Iceless Collapsible Cooler, Costco item 1872184, sold between March 6 and March 29, 2026. A small, powerful magnet in the cooler's latch can detach if its cover was not properly sealed, creating a choking hazard for children and pets.

Customers should stop using the cooler and contact California Innovations for a free replacement latch kit. The recall is being conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Costco recalled its Traditional Madeleines after some packages were found to contain Chocolate Hazelnut Madeleines, meaning the labels did not properly disclose the tree nut allergen. The affected products were sold at select Costco stores across several states and Puerto Rico between March 30 and April 6, 2026.

Customers with a tree nut allergy should not eat the recalled madeleines, as the undeclared hazelnuts could cause a serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. The products can be returned to Costco for a full refund.

Panasonic recalled certain NB-G200 stainless steel electric toaster ovens, sold at Costco as item #2024930 between February and April 2026. The ovens may have insufficient insulation around the power cord, creating a potential electric shock and fire hazard. No injuries or deaths had been reported.

Customers should stop using the toaster oven immediately and return it either to Panasonic or a Costco warehouse for a full refund.

Costco issued a product notice for Desert Willow plants (item #25215) purchased between June 24 and July 3, 2026, because the plants may be infested with the glassy-winged sharpshooter, an invasive insect that can spread Pierce's disease and damage grapevines, citrus trees, and other plants.

Customers should isolate the plant and not return, transport, trash, or compost it. Instead, they should contact their local county agricultural commissioner. Costco is offering a full refund without requiring the plant to be returned.
