These 9 Cities Are Getting a Marshalls (Is Yours One?)

It's official: your favorite TJX brand might be coming to a city near you. Marshalls, the beloved discount store known for its deals on clothes, accessories, home decor, beauty products, and more, has new store openings in the U.S. over the next few months

And lucky for shoppers, Marshalls is a great place to save more money on essentials. That means when the new stores open their doors, you can find some of your favorite high-end brands for less.

Keep reading to find out if you'll soon have a new Marshalls to shop at.

TJX opened the first two Marshalls stores back in 1977, and in 2024, the company announced its goal of opening at least 1,300 additional locations globally across its portfolio of stores, which includes stores like TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Homesense.

Here are the nine brand new store openings across the U.S. for August and September. Some are already open for shopping, while others are still awaiting their opening date.

• 66 Market Terrace, S 700

On Sept. 18, this north Alabama Marshalls location will be open for business from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. After the grand opening, the regular business hours will be from Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This will be the first store in Oneonta.

• 995 North State 434

Currently with 110 locations in the state, Florida is second only to California (151) in terms of total Marshalls locations. This new store just opened in Altamonte Springs and is now ready for shopping Monday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• 660 N. Veterans Parkway

The 44th Marshalls location in Georgia will be opening on Sept. 18, with grand opening hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. From then on, the regular store hours will be Monday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• 1548 Butterfield Road

Now officially open, this Illinois location is ready for shoppers. One of 52 Marshalls stores in the state of Illinois, this location is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

• 1964 West Morton Ave.

Opened back on Aug. 14, this location is the first in the city of Jacksonville. Shoppers can enjoy their local Marshalls on Monday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• 3601 Old Airport Road NW- A

This new store opened its doors on Aug. 14, and is available to customers Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is the seventh store in New Mexico and the second in the city of Albuquerque.

• 1205 E. Pine Street, Suite C

This new location, now the eighth New Mexico store, opened on Aug. 21, with store hours of 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. This is the first Marshalls location in the city of Deming.

• 3900 S.E. 82nd Ave., Ste 1000

There are only 15 Marshalls stores in the entire state of Oregon, and this location is the second to open in Portland. Now officially open, the store is available to shoppers Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• 2101 Broadway Ave

The third official Marshalls location in the state of South Dakota will have its grand opening on Sept. 18 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Once officially open, the store's daily hours will be Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the company's first-quarter earnings report from May of 2025, there are at least 1,234 Marshalls locations. California has the most locations, with a total of 151, while North Dakota only has one. There are no Marshalls stores in the states of Alaska or Montana.
