When many people think of Costco, they may imagine saving a few dollars on everyday essentials by buying in bulk. But sometimes the price is so good, it might be hard to believe. From kitchen storage to skincare to a full-size accent chair, the picks below span nearly every aisle in the warehouse, and several beat their price at other major retailers by a wide margin.

Check out 14 low-price items Costco has to offer this month while supplies last.

Snapware Pyrex 18-Piece Glass Food Storage Set

Price: $35.99

Pyrex is a well-known name for quality glass cookware, which is why this 18-piece storage set from Snapware is a fantastic deal. You'll get nine Pyrex tempered glass containers of various sizes, along with nine airtight, leak-proof lids.

The containers are freezer, dishwasher, and microwave safe, while the glass containers are oven safe up to 450°F. Amazon sells a 10-piece Snapware set made without Pyrex glass for $34.61, highlighting the great deal Costco is offering.

The set includes two 1-cup round containers, two 2-cup rectangular containers, two 4-cup square containers, two 4-cup round containers, and one 6-cup rectangular container, so shoppers get a range of sizes for everything from single servings to larger portions.

Each lid has four locking tabs to keep it airtight and a write-and-erase surface for labeling contents and dates, and the nesting design is meant to save cabinet space.

Costco members have also noted the sets replace worn-out lids at no extra cost through Snapware's warranty.

Swiffer Sweep + Mop Deluxe Sweeping Kit

Price: $29.99 (on sale from $34.99)

The Swiffer Sweeper offers a convenient way to dust, sweep, and mop floors. Its ergonomic, lightweight design makes it easier for people with hand or wrist pain to handle and store.

However, it can be pricey; for example, at Walmart, a Swiffer Sweep Plus Mop Deluxe — including one sweeper and 30 refills — costs $30.99. At Costco, the same bundle is only $29.99.

The kit includes 15 Heavy Duty Dry Sweeping Cloths and 15 Heavy Duty Wet Mopping Cloths, along with a collapsible pole that shrinks to 25 inches for easy storage.

Swiffer recommends starting with a dry cloth to capture hair, dirt, and dust, then following with a wet mopping cloth to dissolve and trap grime.

The tool is safe for tile, hardwood, and vinyl flooring, though the brand advises against using it on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wood, unsealed tile, or carpet.

Kirkland Signature Butter Croissants

Price: $6.80

Finding a good butter croissant to enjoy with your morning coffee or fill with eggs, cheese, and bacon can be tricky. Some are too dry, too flaky, or simply overpriced.

Costco customer Jill C. discovered that the big-box retailer gets it right. "It's the only place where I can find 12 large size croissants for under seven dollars!" she says, praising both the croissants' texture and the value.

The croissants are baked fresh daily in Costco's bakery department and are made with real butter, flour, and a handful of other ingredients, giving them a soft, doughy texture rather than the crisp, flaky layers of a traditional French bakery croissant.

Each croissant runs about 300 calories, according to nutrition information for the product. Costco recommends eating them within a five-day window for the best texture, or freezing them right away to keep them fresh longer.

Shoppers on Reddit have also suggested pairing them with Costco's rotisserie chicken for a quick lunch.

Crest 3D White Advanced Whitening Toothpaste

Price: $18.99

Surface stains don't stand a chance against Crest 3D White Advanced Whitening Toothpaste. Out of the Crest 3D lineup, this toothpaste prevents stains and cavities and removes up to 100% of surface stains within three days.

If you purchase the five-count bundle from Costco, you'll only pay $18.99. The same pack at Walmart would cost you $25.09, making Costco the more budget-friendly option.

Each tube in the five-pack holds 5.2 ounces of fluoride anticavity toothpaste, and the formula includes 24-Hour Stain Prevention Technology, which is designed to guard against future stains while also helping strengthen enamel.

The active ingredient, sodium fluoride, helps protect against cavities, while hydrated silica provides gentle polishing power.

Because the toothpaste ships in a multi-tube bundle, it also works well for households that want to stock up on a bathroom staple without a separate trip to the store.

Fresh Strawberries

Price: $6.57

Strawberry season is short, lasting only a few weeks between the spring and early summer. During their peak season, it's very common to find them on sale. Off-season, prices can soar, reaching as high as $8.99 per pound. Despite being off-season now, Costco offers a 2-pound package for just over $6.

That works out to roughly $3.25 per pound, well below the off-season high the article notes elsewhere.

Fresh strawberries are a good source of vitamin C and fiber, and Costco's clamshell packaging is designed to help keep the berries fresh and ventilated during transport.

Because berries are perishable, shoppers who want to stretch the value further can wash and freeze extra strawberries for smoothies, or slice and store them in the fridge for quick snacking throughout the week.

Pure Life Purified Water

Price: $4.99

Costco is known for offering excellent deals on everyday bulk essentials, and Pure Life purified water is one of them this September.

A 24-pack of 8-ounce bottles usually sells for $4.99, but through September 20, it's on sale for just $3.49, or only about 15 cents per bottle.

Whether you need it for home, work, or on-the-go hydration, this bulk pack provides convenience and value in one.

Each bottle undergoes a purification process and is enhanced with minerals, including calcium chloride and magnesium sulfate, for taste, according to the brand.

The compact 8-ounce size is designed for portion control, making it a fit for lunchboxes, sports practices, or office breakrooms where a full-size bottle isn't necessary.

The bottles are also recyclable, excluding the cap and label, which the brand notes on its packaging.

Henredon Marley Fabric Swivel Accent Chair

Price: $399.99

Walk into any discount furniture store and you're not likely to find a quality chair for under $400. Yet Costco sells this attractive and functional swivel chair for just under $400. Featuring a comfortable chenille fabric, this chair is the perfect addition to any living room.

Reviewers note that this chair is both comfortable and of good quality. If you buy this chair elsewhere online, you could pay as much as $499.99.

The chair features a track-arm, box-style back design that sits on a smooth 360-degree swivel base, and its loose, reversible seat and back cushions can be flipped periodically to promote more even wear over time.

Inside, the chair uses pocket coil seating with sinuous spring support and kiln-dried wood for the frame, while the cushions are filled with high-resiliency foam.

The upholstery is 100% polyester fabric, which Costco notes is designed for easy maintenance.

Olay Pro Advanced Regenerist Complex Hydrating Moisturizer

Courtesy of Costco olay pro advanced regenerist complex

Price: $36.99 (on sale from $46.99)

Finding a quality anti-aging moisturizer on a budget is no small feat, making this 2-pack from Olay practically a steal. Containing dual peptides along with antioxidants and niacinamide, this hydrating cream helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, firm and plump skin, and even tone and texture.

At Target, you can buy one 1.7-ounce container for $24.99, compared to the two you get in Costco's bundle for only $36.99 on sale.

The formula combines two peptides, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 and Palmitoyl Dipeptide-7, which work to support skin elasticity and firmness.

It also contains sodium hyaluronate, a form of hyaluronic acid that helps draw moisture into the skin, along with niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, which supports skin's surface cell turnover.

Each 1.7-ounce jar is meant to be used daily as part of a regular skincare routine.

Kleenex Ultra Soft Facial Tissue

Price: $20.49 (on sale from $24.99)

Allergy season is here, which means many of us are reaching for tissues more frequently. Ultra Soft is allergist-approved, hypoallergenic, and three-ply for those seasonal watery eyes and noses.

This bundle includes 12 boxes of 85 tissues each and is priced at $20.49. For comparison, the same product is currently available at Walmart for $29.80.

Each box adds up to 1,020 tissues total across the 12-box bundle, and every tissue measures about 8.2 by 8.4 inches.

The tissues use Clorox's parent company Kimberly-Clark's Clean Shield design, which the brand says contains messes better than a leading value toilet paper. The tissues are also dye-free and fragrance-free, and they're made with FSC Mix paper, meaning some of the wood pulp comes from responsibly managed forests.

The upright box format also works well for tucking into a car, bathroom, or living room.

SAGE Women's Plush Shirt Jacket

Price: $16.99

With cooler weather right around the corner, long sleeves are making a comeback. If you're looking to add a light jacket to your wardrobe, the SAGE Women's Plush Shirt Jacket is a stylish choice. Made of soft polyester, it features a plaid plush shell, cozy fleece lining, and a button-up closure. Plus, it comes with front welt pockets that shoppers love.

Reviewer OCAutophysn raved, "This plush shirt jacket has the largest/deepest/longest side pockets I have ever seen in women's clothing. It actually fits the ultra Android, the large Pixel pro xl, and pro max iPhones."

The jacket is made from 100% polyester in a heavyweight fabric of roughly 300 grams per square meter, giving it more weight than a typical fleece layer.

SAGE sells the style in multiple plaid colorways, and sizing runs from XS to XXL, with a size chart on Costco's site to help shoppers find the right fit.

Care instructions call for a cold, gentle machine wash separately from other items, using only non-chlorine bleach when needed.

Kirkland Signature Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks

Price: $14.99

Costco's freezer section is loaded with goodies, including Chick-fil-A-style chicken breast chunks. They are lightly breaded, seasoned, and pre-cooked, requiring only 10 minutes in an air fryer before they're ready to enjoy.

At Costco, you'll get a 4-pound bag that works out to about 83 cents per serving. Compare it to Chick-fil-A, where you'll spend $5.49 for just eight chicken nuggets.

The chunks are made from 100% boneless, skinless white meat chicken breast rather than processed or formed meat, and the bag holds about 21 servings, according to product details.

Costco's packaging lists three reheating options: air fryer at 360 degrees for about eight to 10 minutes, a conventional oven, or the microwave for a quicker option.

Because the chunks are already fully cooked, they work as a fast add-in for salads, wraps, or a weeknight dinner alongside vegetables or rice.

Sun Zero Pratt Tonal Texture 100% Blackout Curtains

Price: $44.99 (on sale from $54.99)

It's hard to put a price on getting a quality night's rest, making blackout curtains an essential for any bedroom. This stylish 2-pack from Sun Zero blocks out 100% of light and also helps reduce sound by up to 45%. Plus, it offers a layer of insulation to help keep your bedroom the ideal temperature no matter the season.

Available in a variety of colors and sizes, you're sure to find a set to match your current decor.

The two-panel set uses fleece insulation to help block both light and outside noise, and the curtains are designed to fit curtain rods up to 1.5 inches in diameter.

Because the panels combine a tonal texture with total blackout lining, they can work as both a decorative and functional layer over an existing sheer curtain.

Costco's other Sun Zero styles, including the Hartford and Broderick lines, offer similar blackout or room-darkening features at different price points for shoppers who want to compare options.

Seeds of Change Organic Quinoa and Brown Rice With Garlic

Price: $15.49

Seeds of Change rice pouches allow you to enjoy your favorite rice blends effortlessly. These convenient, pre-portioned pouches can be ready in under 2 minutes. So, they're an excellent side dish or a quick addition to ground meat or diced chicken breast for a complete meal.

While a single pouch costs up to $3, Costco offers a 6-pack for $15.49.

Each 8.5-ounce pouch blends whole grain brown rice with red and black quinoa, along with garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley for flavor.

The blend is USDA certified organic and comes in BPA-free pouches that can go straight from the pantry to the microwave, ready in about 90 seconds, according to the brand.

A one-cup serving provides a source of dietary fiber and iron, making the pouches a convenient way to add a whole grain side dish to a meal without extra prep time.

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Variety Pack

Price: $21.99

Clorox disinfecting wipes eliminate 99.9% of viruses and bacteria and are confirmed to kill the COVID-19 virus on contact.

This well-known brand is now available at Costco for $21.99 for a 5-pack, which contains 425 wipes. That comes out to just about 5 cents per wipe, making this a great deal.

The variety pack includes three canisters in Crisp Lemon scent and two in Fresh Scent, and the wipes are bleach-free but still effective on more than 100 surfaces, including finished wood, sealed granite, and stainless steel.

Clorox says the wipes clean three times better than a wet paper towel and can fight odor-causing bacteria for up to 48 hours on non-food-contact surfaces when used as directed.

To disinfect a surface, the label calls for keeping it visibly wet for four minutes.

Bottom line

Eduardo Barraza/Adobe exterior view of a costco wholesale store

Costco already offers competitive prices, but it frequently puts products on sale, helping members save even more over time. If you don't have a membership, you can still shop through Instacart, although prices may vary.

The warehouse is often busy, so in-store shopping can take longer than expected. You can save time and hassle by placing a Costco order for pickup and simply driving up when your order is ready.

Several of the items above, including the toothpaste, tissues, and moisturizer, also show up in Costco's Business Center or same-day delivery options, which can be worth checking if a local warehouse is out of stock.

Since Costco regularly rotates its "while supplies last" deals and instant savings, prices and availability on some of these items may shift from one month to the next, so it's worth double-checking current pricing in the app or in-store before making a special trip for any single item.
