Homemade pizzas, spaghetti, and lasagna all need sauce. And there's no reason to pay brand-name prices. For $13.99, you can score a 12-count pack from Kirkland Signature.

The sauce is made from organic California Roma tomatoes that are vine-ripened and freshly packed, and it's USDA Organic and kosher.

A single 15-ounce can of Hunt's costs $1.49 at Target. At that price, you would pay over $17 for the same quantity as Costco's bulk buy.

That works out to about $1.17 a can at Costco. Because it's a simple base sauce, you can season it your way with garlic, herbs or red pepper flakes, or use it in chili, soups and stews.

This mega-sized bag is the perfect take-along treat for on-the-go snacking. You won't have to worry about washing or refrigerating the dried fruit.

Keep in mind that these are sweetened: The ingredient list includes organic cane sugar and organic sunflower oil along with the organic blueberries. A quarter-cup serving has about 130 calories and 3 grams of fiber, so a small handful goes a long way.

Make tuna salad for the entire month with this protein-rich bulk buy. Each under-$19 box includes eight seven-ounce cans of wild-caught, water-packed solid white Albacore tuna. 

Each can packs 42 grams of protein, and the ingredient list is short: albacore tuna, water, sea salt and sodium acid pyrophosphate. The tuna is dolphin-safe, kosher and traceable from sea to shelf.

Check your local Costco for an even better price. We found this eight-count pack for $15.79.

Solid white albacore has a firm, meaty texture that holds together well, so it works in sandwiches, salads, pasta and casseroles, not just tuna salad. At $18.99, each can costs about $2.37.

Pass on the pricey brand-name K Cups and try Kirkland's generic coffee. You'll get 120 pods of the rich organic blend for less than $45. Keurig sells a smaller 96-count pack of Green Mountain Coffee's Breakfast Blend for over $50.

That works out to about 37 cents per pod for the Kirkland version. The Breakfast Blend is a light roast made from 100% Arabica beans, and it's Fair Trade Certified and kosher. 

Costco describes its aroma as toasted walnut with malty brown sugar notes. The pods are made for Keurig K-Cup brewers, and once you're done, you can peel off the lid and compost the grounds. If you drink one cup a day, a single box lasts about four months.

Kirkland's sparkling water is a bargain-priced dupe for LaCroix. The Costco brand 35-count pack includes lime, lemon, and grapefruit flavors. 

Each 12-ounce can is calorie-free, sodium-free and sweetener-free, and the ingredient list is simply carbonated water and natural flavors. Drink the water over ice or mix it into a bubbling cocktail. 

At $13.61, you'll pay about 39 cents a can. Reviewers say the fizz holds up, and one calls grapefruit the standout of the three flavors. Keep a few cans chilled for an easy soda swap. 

Just don't confuse these cans with Kirkland's bottled sparkling water, which comes in different flavors and is sweetened with sucralose.

Messes happen, but you don't need to spend money on brand-name paper towels just to keep your home clean. This bulk-sized pack includes 12 individually wrapped rolls of two-ply 160-sheet paper towels for $23.99. 

These are Create-a-Size towels, so you can tear off a half or full sheet depending on the mess. Each 11-by-7-inch sheet has two thick, absorbent layers, and the pack adds up to 1,920 sheets, or 1,026 square feet.

A 12-count pack of 135-sheet-per-roll Bounty costs $35.49 at Target. That means you'd get 300 fewer sheets with the Bounty pack while paying more. Since each roll is wrapped, you can stash a few in the garage or laundry room without worrying about dust.

Warm bakery-fresh rolls from Costco? We aren't the only ones who enjoy this 12-count pack of artisan buns. 

These ciabatta-style rolls are baked in the Costco bakery and come pre-sliced, with a slightly chewy crust and an airy, hole-filled interior. The ingredient list is short, with enriched wheat flour, water, sea salt, yeast and malted barley flour, and no preservatives.

Reddit user northwest333 raved, "These beautiful carbohydrate packets are so delicious and versatile. Use 'em for toast in the morning, a sandwich for lunch, and a side roll for dinner. There's probably something you can do for dessert too."

Because there are no preservatives, freeze any rolls you won't eat within a few days.

Each serving has about 130 calories. Keep in mind that enriched flour is the first ingredient, so it isn't a 100% whole-grain bread, and it isn't gluten-free. If you can't finish the loaf within a few days, slice and freeze the rest so you can toast pieces as needed.

Prep for your next party with this super-sized bag of tortilla chips. For $7.93, you can get 40 ounces of the USDA organic white and yellow corn snack. A much smaller 17-ounce-size Tostitos Original Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips costs $6.69 at Target.

That works out to about 20 cents an ounce at Costco, compared with about 39 cents an ounce for the Tostitos. The chips are made with organic whole corn, organic sunflower oil and sea salt, and they're certified gluten-free, kosher and non-GMO. 

Pair them with salsa, guacamole or queso, or crush the broken bits at the bottom of the bag over taco salads or chili.
