12 Aldi Finds Smart Shoppers Always Grab Before They Sell Out

Those who shop at Aldi often rave about the unique items that line its shelves, along with the excellent prices that can help you stretch your Aldi budget.

With almost 2,800 stores in 40 states, the chain has a devoted following thanks to the plethora of must-have products.  Check out these 12 favorites to add to your shopping list.

Aldi's pre-made desserts are a quick and easy treat, whether it's just for you or if you're sharing with others.

Their cheesecakes, in particular, could be a delectable winner for you at parties. Their popular sampler includes New York style, strawberry swirl, turtle, and triple chocolate.

The only prep to get them ready to serve is a good thaw when pulled out of the freezer. Each sampler comes with eight slices, two of each flavor.

It's also a great way to beat inflation prices since the ingredients to make this would end up costing you far more. Grab one at your local Aldi for $5.49.

These ready-to-bake pizzas may become one of your easy weeknight favorites for dinner, and you can grab a variety of them for between $6 and $9 on average.

Pick up a classic pepperoni pie or grab a veggie pizza and use it as your base for a variety of options you can try at home.

You'll find these pizzas in the refrigerated section. For a crispier crust, The Kitchn suggests baking on a pizza stone or on the lower third of your oven.

Pro tip: To blend an Aldi and Costco fave, try topping your Mama Cozzi's pizza with leftovers from a Costco rotisserie chicken. There might be more Costco hacks perfect for you as well.

Ranch dressing might have almost a cult-like following with some fans, and Tuscan Garden has one that Aldi shoppers can't get enough of. Their classic ranch flavor comes in two sizes, so there's plenty to share. 

You can pick up a 16-ounce bottle or a family-size 36-ounce bottle, which Aldi Reviewer found for $3.79, or about 11 cents per ounce. 

The reviewer called it "as good as any name brand" when compared to Hidden Valley. It's smooth and creamy, and it's gluten-free. Beyond salads, use it as a dip for veggies, wings, or chicken nuggets. 

Prefer a thicker, richer dressing? Aldi also sells a Tuscan Garden buttermilk ranch.

Hosting a dinner party? The Fremont Fish Market Jumbo Cooked Shrimp could be a delicious appetizer as your guests break the ice. 

Consider getting a couple of bags if you'd rather serve as a main course. They're only $8.79 a piece.

Each 12-ounce bag holds about 19 to 23 shrimp that are already peeled and deveined, with the tails left on for easy dipping. 

To thaw them, refrigerate them overnight, or rinse them under cold running water for six to eight minutes. Then just serve with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges. 

The shrimp also carry Best Aquaculture Practices certification and are a product of India.

Aldi has some unique dips, and one favorite is the Park Street Deli Street Corn Dip, which pairs perfectly with tortilla chips and is priced at $3.29. They also have hummus, black bean, and spicy guacamole varieties.

The 10-ounce tub combines fire-roasted corn, cilantro, and red chili spices with a creamy blend of mayonnaise, sour cream, and Monterey Jack, cotija, and Neufchatel cheeses. It has some kick without being overly spicy, according to Aldi Reviewer. 

Besides chips, try it with crackers, pita bread, or fresh veggies, or set it out as an appetizer on taco night. It's a Regular Buy, so you should be able to find it year-round.

Sea salt is a must-have for any cooking aficionado. 

Hosting happy hour? Consider using it to rim your margarita glasses at your next party for some extra compliments. It'll cost you $1.75.

The sea salt comes in a 3.53-ounce grinder, so you can grind it as fine or as coarse as you like for each dish. Sprinkle it over roasted vegetables, grilled steak, or a homemade caramel sauce for a sweet-and-salty finish. 

Stonemill also offers a Himalayan pink salt grinder at a similar price, along with a black peppercorn grinder. Just note that one Aldi Reviewer tester had a grinder cap crack after a few weeks of use, so handle it with care.

If you're looking for a sweet treat to go along with your morning coffee, try Baker's Treat's Cinnamon Streusel Cakes. At just $3.25, the eight-count pack will last you over a week with your favorite cup of joe.  

The 11.6-ounce box comes with eight small coffee cakes topped with cinnamon streusel. Reviewers say the cake stays moist and the cinnamon topping offers good coverage. 

They're on the small side, though, so some people may want two with their morning coffee. Warm one in the microwave for a few seconds for a fresh-from-the-oven feel, or pack one in a lunchbox for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Found in the frozen aisle is the coveted mix of mango, avocado, dragon fruit, and passion fruit. It could be a good alternative to your typical smoothies with frozen berries and bananas.

You may also want to try it as a unique dessert topping for some vanilla ice cream or to give some extra flavor to a cheesecake.

The Season's Choice blend comes in a 32-ounce bag. The avocado adds a creamy texture to smoothies, but it's barely noticeable once blended with the other fruits. It also saves you from buying several tropical fruits separately. 

For a quick breakfast, toss a handful into a blender with yogurt and a splash of juice.

Whether you're looking to make a quick snack or want to offer a variety of flavors for your guests, this cheese tray is a great start. For just $4.95, it offers cheddar, Colby Jack, Swiss, and Pepper Jack slices. 

Heat for a few seconds to transform your favorite beef or chicken slider. 

The 1-pound tray comes with 28 slices, seven of each cheese. They're pre-sliced to the perfect size for sandwiches, crackers, and school lunches. 

The Kitchn also suggests using them to top skillet chicken dishes, make ham and cheese sliders, or build a copycat Egg McMuffin at home. Pair the slices with crackers, grapes, and salami for an easy party platter.

Every winter, Aldi gets in the festive holiday spirit by offering a variety of advent calendars to help shoppers count down the days until Christmas.

In 2025, the retailer's offerings included calendars with wine, coffee, cheese, hot sauce, and chocolate to help keep track of the days until Christmas. 

The calendars typically land in stores in early November as part of Aldi Finds, and prices ranged from $1.99 to $39.99 last year. 

Most stores only get one shipment, and there's often a limit of two per calendar. Alcohol calendars also vary by state. If there's one you have your eye on, shop early on release day.

Aldi's roots are in Germany, which may be why the retailer likes to stock up on traditional German foods from time to time. Keep an eye out for these German soft pretzel sticks during Oktoberfest and Aldi's German Week. Right now, you can grab them for $4.79.

Each 17.57-ounce box holds six frozen pretzel sticks imported from Germany, along with a packet of salt. Just spray them with water, sprinkle on the salt, and bake for a few minutes until golden. 

Serve them warm with nacho cheese sauce or spicy brown mustard. At $4.79 a box, that works out to about 80 cents per pretzel stick.

Aldi's Never Any! meat products are particularly notable for what they leave out. Gone are antibiotics as well as added hormones, which help make these meats a favorite.

The line includes whole chicken and chicken breasts along with a variety of sausages, bacon, and sandwich meats. These can provide a great way to get ahead financially while making sure you enjoy your favorite meats.

Aldi launched the line in 2016. The products also come from vegetarian-fed animals and contain no animal by-products or added steroids. In 2018, Never Any! meats also earned the Good Housekeeping Seal. Look for the Never Any! label in the fresh meat case on your next trip.

Shoppers at Aldi know all about their good deals, but some products are highly coveted and fly off the shelves when stocked, particularly if they're only around for certain seasons.
