Old Navy
This brand has been a staple for graphic tees, jeans, and other basics since 1994, and Old Navy has been offering plus-sized clothing since 2004 and adding sizes up to size 28 in 2022.
Although their plus-sized section might not be as extensive as some stores, the prices are low, with basic tees starting at under $10.
Target
In 2015, Target launched its own plus-sized line, Ava & Viv. They currently offer everything from tees and tanks to dresses and trousers in sizes up to 4X. Find comfy, chic styles like a flutter-sleeve midi dress for just $28.
Torrid
Torrid offers exclusively mid- and plus-size clothing in over 600 stores across the U.S. and Canada. Because they focus on curvy figures, they offer different cuts of shirts, jeans, swimsuits, and, more specifically, crafted to flatter plus-sized women.
Torrid offers a rewards program and Torrid Cash to help you save money. Your perks increase based on your spending.
Get a protection plan on all your appliances
Did you know if your air conditioner stops working, your homeowner’s insurance won’t cover it? Same with plumbing, electrical issues, appliances, and more.
Whether or not you’re a new homeowner, a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty could pick up the slack where insurance falls short and protect you against surprise expenses. If a covered system in your home breaks, you can call their hotline 24/7 to get it repaired.
For a limited time, you can get your first month free with a Single Payment home warranty plan.
Cato
Cato’s sizes range from plus to petite, but they have a wide selection of fashionable pieces in large sizes, including lingerie. Choose from casual or professional styles in sizes up to 28. Blouses generally range from about $20 to $30.
Nordstrom Rack
If you love Nordstrom’s styles but not the price tag, Nordstrom Rack has professional fashions in plus sizes up to 28W or 4X. Nordstrom Rack has 247 stores across the U.S. and Canada.
Score the best deals by signing up for email notifications, so you’ll be the first to know about Clear the Rack sales, which offer 25% off clearance items.
Trending Stories
J. Crew
Although this store does not offer plus-sized models on its website, it does offer plus-sized pieces. Check out the discounted section of the J. Crew website for up to 50% off select styles.
With an emphasis on quality and sustainability, J. Crew may not be the cheapest store on this list. However, you can get clothing in sizes up to 3X that should last a long time.
Anthropologie
This store has unique, vintage styles that are to die for — all in sizes petite to 3X. Anthropologie also has a bridal line, including bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride outfits in sizes up to 26W.
Save even more on your favorite styles by joining the AnthroPerks program and using your 15% off birthday coupon.
Lane Bryant
Lena Bryant founded the store in 1904; the name was changed to “Lane” due to a clerical error at the bank. The brand's motto is “Fit for Curves,” and it is committed to women’s plus-sized fashions. They offer a wide range of sizes — up to 40 for select styles.
Lane Bryant rewards program stacks with the cash back you can get by having a Lane Bryant credit card, and both include free shipping on orders over $75.
Macy’s
Fashion and comfort meet in the Macy’s plus-sized section. With a large selection of flowy dresses, name-brand swimsuits, and stylish palazzo pants and trousers, you’re sure to find something that makes you feel awesome. Sizes range up to 24W or 4X.
If you’re looking to score the best deals at Macy’s, consider waiting until their semi-annual sales in January and July. During these sales, they often discount just about everything from 25% to 75%.
Stop overpaying when you shop online
Shopping online has its perks. It's super convenient, but it can be time consuming to find the best deals. Instead of hunting for coupon codes (that don't always work!) and opening tons of browser tabs comparing prices, you can try Capital One Shopping.
Capital One Shopping makes saving money effortless. Just add the browser extension and when you check out, it'll scour the internet for coupon codes to help you save cash. And before you check out at 25+ major retailers, Capital One Shopping will notify you with a friendly pop-up if the item you're buying is available cheaper somewhere else.
Capital One Shopping is free to use and won't show you ads. Add it today and stop overpaying!2
Kohl’s
Kohl’s is a mecca for coupon savings, but it’s also a nexus for name brands like Vera Wang, Nine West, Land’s End, and Under Armor. Shop styles up to 5x to create an affordably fashionable wardrobe.
Don’t forget to look for promo codes or web browser discounts to maximize your savings.
Fabletics
If you’re in the market for size-inclusive athletic wear, Fabletics has you covered. They offer leggings, sports bras, joggers, and jumpsuits in sizes up to 4X.
Find deals on tennis skirts and sports bras for under $20. Fabletics also carries scrubs for nurses and other working professionals.
Walmart
You might not think of this as a fashion destination, but Walmart has upped its clothing game in recent years. From graphic tees to mix-and-match swimwear, you can pick up affordable basics in sizes up to 4X.
Catherine’s
Like Cato, Catherine’s caters to mid- to plus-size women and offers some of the most inclusive sizing available — up to 7x. They also carry extra-wide shoes. Find cardigans and sweaters between 20$ and $45.
Ross
This discount clothing retailer has a plus-sized section, so you can score fashionable wardrobe additions at great prices. Because each Ross has a different inventory, the selection of clothing will vary.
TJ Maxx
TJ Maxx has a great selection of size-inclusive clothing both in-store and online. The brand boasts over 4,800 locations in nine countries and three continents, but like Ross, your mileage may vary depending on what styles you find in the store.
Bottom line
Many brands offer expanded sizes online, but not every physical store stocks plus sizes for your favorite styles.
These stores are dedicated to inclusive sizing and have plus sizes in stock so you can see how each item fits you, rather than relying on subjective sizing guides for online shopping. Plus, you can stop wasting money on return shipping when things don’t fit.
