Wegmans has fans on the East Coast, and they'll be excited to hear the grocery chain is adding six new locations.

The store, known for quality products and helping shoppers save on groceries, will open six new stores and add an additional state to its roster.

Manhattan

Wegmans opened a new store in Manhattan at the corner of Lafayette Street and Astor Place in October of 2023.

The grocery chain, which took over space once occupied by a Kmart, has plenty of options for shoppers in 82,000 square feet of space.

Lake Grove, New York

Another addition to the New York Wegmans locations will be in Lake Grove, marking the company’s first store on Long Island expected to open sometime in 2025.

The new location will feature 100,000 square feet of shopping space for buyers, allowing them to pick up name-brand products or Wegmans' popular in-store brand.

Norwalk, Connecticut

Wegmans will be opening its first store in Connecticut, with a location in Norwalk.

The store will feature two levels for shopping and a parking deck to handle all of the new shoppers coming to Wegmans. Its expected opening date is sometime in 2025.

A Wegmans is set to open in Rockville in 2025.

The new store is part of a more extensive development that will include retail and residential spaces as well as offices and restaurants.

Holly Springs, North Carolina

North Carolina’s fifth Wegmans will be in Holly Springs between Raleigh and Durham.

The grand opening has not yet been set but expect to see the new location open in 2024 for shoppers who love quality name brands and Wegmans’ in-store label on products. Another location will also open in Charlotte in 2026.
