Save money at Costco by grabbing tasty ingredients to recreate your Greek takeout favorites from home. This superstore has tons of authentic recipes and dishes that also save you time, so you can spend your evenings enjoying a classic bite with your family.

Plus, many of these Greek eats are ready-to-eat, so all you have to do is heat them up, and then they're ready to serve.

Many Greek staples are easy to buy in bulk, from olives and feta to yogurt and pita, so you can stock up once and mix and match them into salads, gyros and mezze platters all week.

A Gold Star membership costs $65 a year, and swapping a few takeout orders for homemade Greek nights can help offset that fee.

Price: $7.20

These table olives are authentically Greek and affordable for a handy snack anytime.

The extra-large olives are USDA Organic and non-GMO, and Costco has carried them in both 20-ounce and 33.68-ounce jars.

These dark purple olives come pitted, so you can set them on a charcuterie board or enjoy them with your favorite Greek bites. They have a uniquely smooth, meaty texture and antioxidants that could even reduce your risk of heart disease.

The ingredient list is short: organic Kalamata olives, water, sea salt and lactic acid. Four olives have about 42 calories. Toss them into a Greek salad, chop them into pasta or pile them onto homemade pizza. The label notes they may contain pits or pit fragments, so bite carefully.

Cuisine Adventures spanakopita

spinach and feta phyllo triangles

Price: $12.17

These savory pies are easy to bake and serve, saving you a trip to your favorite Greek spot. Bake them from frozen at 400 degrees for 17 to 19 minutes, or use an air fryer at 350 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes. The box says not to microwave them, since the phyllo won't brown properly.

Each crispy phyllo triangle has a filling of hearty spinach and creamy feta for an authentic bite that's enjoyable on its own or with a Greek salad. You get 48 in this fantastic deal.

Perfect for a party or anytime you want to enjoy Greek cuisine. The triangles come in four trays of 12, so you can bake just what you need. A three-piece serving has about 200 calories.

Kirkland Signature Organic Greek Feta

kirkland signature organic feta cheese

Price: $14.69

Add Greek flavor to any dish or recipe with classic feta. This PDO-certified cheese is made in Greece from 100% sheep's milk, and it's USDA Organic and kosher.

Crumble it over homemade salads, pasta, dips, or even your pizza for a Grecian twist. This tangy cheese is full of calcium and protein. The 28.2-ounce block comes packed in brine, which helps keep it fresh, so store leftovers submerged in the liquid.

A 1-ounce serving has 90 calories and 5 grams of protein. One food blogger calls pure sheep's milk feta milder and creamier than versions made with goat's milk. At $14.69, you'll pay about 52 cents an ounce.

Cuisine Solutions sliced beef sirloin

Courtesy of Costco

Price: $12.99

These ready-to-eat beef slices are perfect for making a classic gyro-inspired dish at home.

The grass-fed sirloin is simply seasoned with sea salt and select spices, then cooked sous vide, meaning it's vacuum-sealed and cooked at a precise low temperature for consistent doneness. It's fully cooked, has no artificial ingredients and delivers 18 grams of protein per serving.

Don't waste time waiting in line at your local gyro place when you can snag these beef slices at Costco instead. You can eat the slices cold, straight from the package, or warm them on the stovetop if you prefer your beef cooked past medium-rare. Pile them into a warm pita with tomatoes, onions and tzatziki for an easy homemade gyro.

Kirkland Signature plain organic Greek yogurt

Price: $7.29

If you're looking for a Greek-inspired dessert, then you'll want to start with this must-have ingredient.

This plain Greek yogurt makes a great snack on its own. You can also try it the Grecian way by adding honey, walnuts, and a dusting of cinnamon.

The 48-ounce tub is nonfat, USDA Organic, kosher, gluten-free and rBST-free, and it contains live and active cultures. A two-thirds-cup serving packs 18 grams of protein.

Greek yogurt, also known as straggisto, is a tangier, thicker variety you can use as a base for many recipes, from smoothies to homemade popsicles. Its thick, tangy texture also makes a good sour cream substitute on baked potatoes or chili.

Kirkland Signature Mediterranean orzo pasta salad

Price: $8.07 per pound

This orzo pasta salad is inspired by Mediterranean flavors that'll transport you to Greece.

You'll find it in Costco's prepared foods section, and because it's priced by the pound, the total cost varies by container.

Each blend is ready to enjoy right out of the container, and it has a mix of salami, vinaigrette, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and other classic Greek tastes. It makes an excellent starter for your Greek dinner and is much more affordable than visiting your favorite restaurant.

The Kalamata olives are sliced lengthwise, and reviewers also mention baby spinach and a light lemon vinaigrette. Keep in mind that the salami means it contains pork, and the orzo isn't gluten-free.

Ficacci Mediterranean olive platter

Price: $12.43

Greece is known for its abundance of olives, thanks to the warm Mediterranean climate being perfect for growing these tangy fruits.

This platter comes with a mix of olives from around the region, including the famous Kalamata olives from Greece. This resealable package means you can enjoy olives as a snack or side throughout the week while maintaining their freshness for a crisp bite every time.

The 1.65-pound tray holds three varieties of pitted olives in separate compartments: buttery Castelvetrano green olives, Kalamata black olives and an Italian olive mix with sweet red and yellow peppers.

The olives are packed without brine or oil and contain no preservatives, so there's no messy liquid to drain. The tray is made mostly of paper, and once you remove the plastic film, the paper base can be recycled.

WestEnd Cuisine grilled chicken skewers

Courtesy of Costco

Price: $19.89

You won't need to visit your favorite food truck when you buy this fully cooked entree from Costco.

Each package includes 14 hand-made, 2-ounce skewers made with chicken breast from vegetarian-fed chickens raised without antibiotics. They're gluten-free and preservative-free, and a two-skewer serving has 24 grams of protein and 150 calories.

These chicken skewers are grilled Mediterranean-style resulting in a bold, flavorful protein that elevates any Grecian-inspired meal. The seasoning includes garlic, lemon and oregano.

Eat them cold, heat them in the microwave or oven, or finish them on the grill. Serve them over rice or a Greek salad, or tuck them into a warm pita. Some shoppers find the flavor milder than expected, so a drizzle of tzatziki can add a boost.

Papa Pita Greek flat bread

Courtesy of Costco

Price: $4.99

Become your own chef from Greece, all without ever leaving the country. This 12-count pack of 7-inch Greek pitas is soft yet sturdy and easy to fold, and Papa Pita uses an extended natural fermentation process for a bold flavor.

Simply add the beef sirloin slices and fresh vegetable toppings to the pita bread for a hearty dinner that will have you saying "efkharisto."

Each pita has 8 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber, and the bread is non-GMO, vegan-friendly and certified heart-healthy by the American Heart Association. Warm them up before serving for the best taste.

Beyond gyros, use them for personal pizzas or cut them into wedges for dipping in hummus.
