November is when the temperature drops, the guest list grows, and a little self-indulgence starts to feel well-earned. Costco happens to be a great place to find it for less. To stretch your budget even further, brush up on these ways to get more out of your Costco membership.

Our roundup covers 12 small upgrades for your living room, your nightstand, and your holiday table. Standouts include $24.99 genuine shearling slippers, six crystal wine glasses for about $8 apiece, and a pair of silk pillowcases that cost less than a single name-brand case.

Holiday stock moves fast and online selection shifts often, so snag your favorites while they're available.

Pendleton Reversible Plush Throw

Price: $23.99

Some patterns look right at home in a mountain cabin, a guest room, or draped over the arm of your favorite reading chair, and Pendleton's are a perfect example. This plush throw brings that classic look to your couch for less than $25.

It measures 50 by 70 inches, is reversible with a different pattern on each side, and is finished with a faux suede binding around the edge. Costco offers five designs, including Coyote Butte, Sierra Sunset, and Woodland Stripe, so you can match your decor or pick up a few as gifts. It's machine washable, too, which matters if it'll live in the family room.

Shoppers give it 4.9 stars across more than 800 reviews. Shopper Chris said, "It's so soft it feels nice to pet."

Kirkland Signature Women's Shearling Slipper

Price: $24.99

Cold floors are one of November's small miseries, and these slippers fix that for under $25. They feature a genuine shearling upper and sock lining on a lightweight EVA outsole, in a warm tan Costco calls Chestnut.

They come in whole sizes 6 through 11. Costco recommends sizing up if you're between sizes and notes that sheepskin stretches slightly with wear, so expect a snug fit at first. They're sold online only.

The value is the real headline. The UGG Scuffette II, a similar backless shearling slipper, sells for $99.95 at Zappos. That means you're paying about a quarter of the price for the same cozy idea, and you could buy a second pair as a gift and still come out way ahead.

Bellevue Luxury Glass Candle Set

Price: $29.99

Nice candles add up fast, so a set of four for $29.99 feels like a small win. Each glass jar holds 11 ounces of soy-blend wax made with pure essential oil blends, burns with two lead-free wicks, and comes with a matching glass lid to keep dust out between uses.

The four fragrances lean fresh and woodsy rather than sugary: Cherry Grove & Plum, Forest Moss & Cypress, Coast Redwood & Fog, and Blue Mist & Sea. Costco estimates roughly 40 hours of burn time per candle.

Do the math, and that's about $7.50 a candle, or roughly 19 cents per hour of ambiance. Keep one on the coffee table and tuck the rest away as easy hostess gifts for the holiday party circuit.

Zwiesel Glas Pure Red Wine Glasses

Price: $49.99

If you're hosting a holiday dinner this year, good stemware is one of those upgrades guests notice the moment they sit down. This set of six 18.2-ounce red wine glasses from Zwiesel Glas has a modern, angled bowl and a tall, elegant stem that makes even a weeknight bottle feel a little fancier.

The glasses are made from Tritan crystal glass, which is designed to resist chips, scratches, and breakage. Costco also says they keep their shine without clouding, even after repeated washes.

At $49.99, you're paying about $8.33 a glass. For comparison, a set of six Schott Zwiesel Pure Full-Bodied Red Wine Glasses, a larger 23-ounce version from the same Pure line, sells for $102 at Sur La Table.

Room Service Women's Notch Collar PJ Set

Price: $19.99

A matching pajama set is one of those little luxuries that makes a slow Saturday morning feel intentional. This Room Service set has a classic button-front top with a notch collar, long sleeves, a shirttail hem, and contrast piping throughout, plus pull-on pants with an elastic drawstring waist and hidden side pockets.

The lightweight polyester-spandex fabric has a little stretch, and sizes run from XS to XXL. You can choose from three prints: Pink Jaguar Stripe, Blue Floral, and Green Stars.

Shopper Kathy said she usually buys pajamas costing over $100, but "These 'Room Service' pajamas are so soft and wash beautifully!" At the time of writing, Costco.com also takes $20 off when you buy five to nine qualifying clothing or shoe items, so pairing these with the slippers above could add up.

Lindt Lindor Chocolate Truffles Variety Pack

Price: $19.99

Few treats say "I deserve this" quite like a Lindor truffle, and this 21.2-ounce variety bag gives you plenty to go around. It includes five flavors: Milk, Dark, White, Caramel, and Sea Salt, so there's something for the milk chocolate loyalist and the dark chocolate devotee alike.

Pour them into a glass candy dish for holiday guests, tuck a handful into stockings, or keep a private stash in the pantry for after-dinner moments. Individually wrapped truffles also travel well in a purse or lunch bag.

Costco lists the bag at about 94 cents per ounce, which makes it an easy way to stock up on a name-brand indulgence before the holiday rush without paying gift-shop prices.

NIGHT 100% Mulberry Silk Pillowcases

Price: $79.99 (queen; king costs more)

Silk pillowcases have a devoted following for good reason: the smooth surface creates less friction than cotton, which can mean less frizz, fewer tangles, and fewer sleep creases. This two-pack from NIGHT is made from 22-momme, grade 6A mulberry silk, which is a nice, substantial weight.

Each case has a hidden zipper closure, is machine washable, and arrives in a gift box, so it's ready to wrap. Costco offers Champagne, Gray, and White in queen and king sizes, with queen at $79.99.

Here's the value story. A single Slip Pure Silk Queen Pillowcase sells for $120 at Shopbop. With NIGHT, you get two cases for about $40 less than one of those, which makes this a splurge that's surprisingly easy to justify.

Turkish Cotton Hotel Bath Towel

Price: $54.99

There's a reason hotel towels feel so different from the ones at home, and it usually comes down to weight. These are made from 100% combed Turkish cotton at a plush 700 GSM, so they feel thick and absorbent rather than thin and scratchy.

For $54.99, you can choose a three-piece set with a 30-by-58-inch bath towel, a 20-by-30-inch hand towel, and a 13-by-13-inch washcloth, or a single oversized 40-by-70-inch bath sheet. Costco lists 10 colors, from crisp White and Ivory to Light Green and Dark Blue.

Shoppers seem to agree they're a step up. Shopper Kate said, "We've had various types of towels from Costco (mostly purchased in-store) and these are superior by far."

Farberware Build-a-Board Set

Price: $44.99

Charcuterie boards are a holiday staple, but getting one from your kitchen to a friend's house without a mess is another story. This Farberware set solves that problem with two bamboo boards that each measure 11 by 14 inches and come with clear locking lids and sleek black handles.

One board has six compartments for crackers, olives, nuts, and dips, while the other has a smooth surface for cheese, meats, and fruit. Use them together for a bigger spread or split them between appetizers and dessert.

The real perk is prep. You can build your board the night before, snap the lid on, and refrigerate it, then carry it straight to the potluck. At about $22.50 per board, that convenience comes at a fair price.

LA SALT CO Magnesium Body Lotion

Price: $20.99

Cold, dry air is hard on skin, and this LA SALT CO lotion makes a good case for treating your nightly routine like a mini spa visit. The formula uses magnesium to help replenish and revitalize tired skin, and it has a non-greasy finish, so you won't feel slick when you slip into bed.

You get two 15-fluid-ounce bottles, which is enough to keep one on the nightstand and another by the kitchen sink. The lotion is vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA.

The math is friendly too. At $20.99 for the pair, you're paying about $10.50 a bottle, or roughly 70 cents per fluid ounce, for a wellness-brand product that feels like a treat.

Home + Body Holiday Passport Hand Soap

Price: $39.99

Festive hand soap is one of the easiest ways to make your home feel ready for guests, and this eight-pack covers the whole season. Each 21.5-fluid-ounce bottle comes in a colorful designer bottle that looks nice enough to leave out on the counter.

You get two bottles each of four holiday scents: Balsam Fir, Orange Spice, Vanilla Bean, and Winter Berry. Put one in every bathroom and the kitchen, and you'll still have spares left for January.

At $39.99, each bottle works out to about $5, or roughly 23 cents per ounce. That also makes this a smart gift stash, since a single bottle tied with a ribbon is a ready-made present for a neighbor, teacher, or coworker.

Keurig K-Café Barista Bar

Courtesy of Costco keurig k cafe barista bar

Price: $99.99

This is the splurge on our list, but it's one you'd use every single day. The Keurig K-Café Barista Bar brews hot coffee in 8, 10, or 12-ounce sizes, makes iced coffee with a brew-over-ice setting, and pulls a stronger coffee shot for lattes and cappuccinos.

The included frother handles both hot and cold milk, so you can make a cozy cappuccino in December or a cold foam iced coffee in July. The 42-ounce removable reservoir means fewer refills, and Costco's bundle includes 22 K-Cup pods to get you started.

If you're in the habit of stopping at a coffee shop for lattes, it doesn't take many skipped visits to cover the $99.99 price tag. After that, every homemade latte is money back in your pocket.

Bottom line

BINGJHEN/Adobe costco wholesale storefront

A little luxury doesn't have to come with a luxury price tag, and these Costco finds prove you can upgrade your cozy nights, holiday table, and morning routine for less. If you're stocking up for the season, using one of the best cash back credit cards is a smart way to make your money go further.
