Fall hits Costco early, and this year the seasonal pallets are worth a slow lap. This list runs across food, home, and clothing. Standouts include a heated throw for $34.99 that costs less than the Sunbeam version at Walmart, a Northern Lights pumpkin candle that is the identical SKU the brand sells for $33, and eight harvest kitchen towels for less than the price of a two-towel set at Williams Sonoma. 

Seasonal Costco items are limited in quantity and disappear without warning, so the good ones will not wait for October.

If one item on this list earns its keep by Thanksgiving, it is this one. The throw measures 50 inches by 60 inches, with faux fur on the face and a smooth velvety reverse, and it runs on four heat settings with a four-hour auto shut-off, which is the feature that matters if you tend to doze off during the evening news. If you are prioritizing, start with the things you will use daily for the next four months: the heated throw, the slippers, the flannel pajamas. Decor can wait for a markdown, but seasonal Costco stock usually cannot, so buy the cozy items now and the pretty ones if they are still there in October.
