Here is the thing about shopping for fall items at Sam's Club: searching "fall" barely scratches it. The club files most of its autumn stock under "harvest," and a surprising share of it is shipping-only online, which means it never shows up in a pickup search at all.
That is where the good stuff hides. Our roundup turned up a limited-edition Werther's caramel assortment, a Changing Leaves paper plate that reviewers rate 4.9 stars, and a three-wick Autumn Tapestry candle that already has one scent sold out.
A little planning helps you get the most out of your Sam's membership, especially on a fixed income.

Drizzilicious Pumpkin Spice Mini Rice Cakes
Price: $4.98
If pumpkin spice usually arrives in your house as a 400-calorie latte, this is the cheaper way in. The 8-ounce resealable pouch runs 62 cents an ounce and delivers 90 calories per 21 pieces, so a bowlful is genuinely a snack rather than dessert.
The base is a mini rice cake made with rice, quinoa, chia, and flax, then finished with a white-chocolate drizzle. It is certified gluten-free, kosher, and Non-GMO Project verified.
One buyer, Sondra C, wrote that she has celiac disease and "it can be difficult to find seasonal snacks." Worth noting: this flavor is sold only at Sam's Club and only in fall.
Member's Mark Pumpkin Pie
Price: $5.98
Buy this in September, not in November. The 12-inch pie weighs 58 ounces, serves roughly 11 to 14 people, and works out to about 43 to 54 cents a serving. That is 10 cents an ounce for a dessert that would cost you more in ingredients alone.
The freezer is the whole strategy here. One member, Fran, buys three at a time and reports they keep about three months when wrapped properly.
Another buyer, Shelley, put it plainly: "You can't beat this pumpkin pie for the price." Shipping is not available, so this is a pickup or same-day delivery item, and the club caps you at 10 per order.
Mayer Brothers Apple Cider
Price: $6.47
Cider is the clearest "buy it before it disappears" item on this list. It shows up in the cold case in early fall, and it is gone by winter. A full gallon here costs $6.47, or 5 cents an ounce, which is cheaper than most bottled juice.
It comes from Mayer Brothers, which has been pressing cider at a mill near Buffalo, New York, for more than 160 years. The ingredient list is two lines long: apples and potassium sorbate.
One reviewer, Timmy, drinks it warm and suggests you "let it sit on a cinnamon stick or three." Pickup or delivery only, and it needs to be refrigerated once you get it home.
Werther's Original Harvest Caramels Assortment
Price: $8.98
This is a limited-edition bag, and Werther's does not bring it back once fall is over. You get 148 individually wrapped pieces in three flavors: caramel apple hard, caramel apple soft, and pumpkin spice.
At 28 ounces for $8.98, that is 32 cents an ounce, or roughly 6 cents a piece. The wrappers matter more than they sound. One candy at a time is easier to manage than an open bag, and it keeps a dish by the door stocked through trick-or-treat season.
One buyer, Bob, favors the hard candies and calls them "to die for." Heads up: this one ships only, with no pickup or delivery option.
Member's Mark Broccoli Cheddar Soup
Price: $8.98
Soup season starts the week the evenings turn, and this two-pack is the best value in the case. You get two 32-ounce tubs, four pounds of soup in total, for 14 cents an ounce. Sam's also sells the Panera Bread version at $10.48 for 40 ounces, which comes out to 26 cents an ounce.
Members clearly notice the resemblance. One reviewer, TJ, took it to a potluck in a crockpot and reported back: "Tastes just like Panera soup!"
It heats in 6 to 7 minutes in the microwave and skips artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Keep it refrigerated, and note that it is pickup or delivery only.
Member's Mark Fall Paper Plates, Changing Leaves
Price: $9.98
These carry a 4.9-star rating across 2,122 ratings, which is about as close to unanimous as a paper plate gets. You get 85 plates at 12 cents each, each one measuring 10 by 10 inches and built from cut-resistant, soak-proof Performa Paperboard.
The print is the reason to buy now. Autumn leaves, branches, and acorns in orange, yellow, green, and brown, and once the seasonal endcap clears in November, it is gone until next year.
One member, Karen L, buys them by the case for a simple reason: "less dishes to wash." They are microwavable for reheating only, and BPI commercially compostable but not recyclable.
Member's Mark Seasonal Lounge Throw
Price: $10.88
Sam's sells a Barefoot Dreams CozyChic throw for $79.98. This one is $10.88, measures a generous 60 by 70 inches, and comes in 28 prints, including a Leaves pattern made for the season.
It is machine washable, which is the detail that separates a throw you actually use from one you drape over a chair and never touch. Members rate it 4.8 stars.
Two things to know. It ships only, so there's no pickup or delivery. And one buyer, AmYoder, had to run it through the wash twice to stop it shedding fibers onto her bedding.
Isotoner Women's Classic Comfort Slipper
Price: $12.88
Isotoner sells its own Women's Embroidered Microsuede Clara Clog Slippers for $36 on isotoner.com. The club price here is $12.88, and it buys you a memory foam footbed, a fleece lining, and six colorways in sizes small through XXL.
The sole is the part worth paying attention to. It is an indoor and outdoor traction sole, so a trip to the mailbox does not mean changing shoes.
One buyer titled her review "Going back for a second pair" and said she does not trip on the stairs the way she did in a pair of Uggs.
Fair warning: this listing is a mess, describing the same slipper as microsuede, velvet leopard, and cable knit in three different places. Check the colorway photo before you order.
Member's Mark Women's Collared Fleece Top
Price: $15.98
September is layering weather, and a $15.98 fleece polo covers the awkward stretch when mornings are cold and afternoons are not. This one is 70% cotton and 30% recycled polyester, with a three-button placket, ribbed cuffs, and a matching waistband.
Sizes run XS through 3XL in three heathers: purple, heather gray, and bay leaf. All three are online only and ship rather than sit in the club.
One caution before you add it to the cart. The listing calls it a relaxed fit at 24.5 inches long in a medium, but several reviewers describe it as cropped. Every review currently visible on the page is tagged as an incentivized review, so take the enthusiasm with a grain of salt.

Member's Mark Harvest Scented Candle
Price: $16.97
Three wicks, 26 ounces of soy-blend wax, and up to 46 hours of burn time in an etched glass vessel that measures 5.25 inches across and 4.25 inches tall. At 65 cents an ounce, it undercuts most mall-brand three-wick candles on wax alone.
There are three scents. Autumn Tapestry leans earthy with fig, oak leaf, and patchouli. Mahogany Santal goes woodsy with fir needle and amber. Maple Pumpkin Butter is the sweet one, and it is already out of stock online.
That sellout is the argument for moving now. Only available online, this candle has 3.8 stars on just 17 ratings, and every review posted so far is an incentivized one, so buy it for the scent notes rather than the star count.
Starbucks K-Cup Coffee Pods, Fall Variety Pack
Price: $41.98
This is the splurge, and it is also the biggest per-cup savings on the list. Sixty-four pods at $41.98 works out to 66 cents a pod. Target sells the 22-count box of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Light Roast K-Cup Pods for $18.29, which is 83 cents a pod.
The variety pack has Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Dolce, and Caramel. Starbucks pulls it once the season turns, so take advantage now.
Members rate it 4.5 stars. One reviewer, LM, summed up the math without doing any: "No need to go through Starbucks before work." Watch for Instant Savings on this one, which knocked $9 off earlier in September. There is a limit of five per member.
Bottom line
A few smart September buys can stretch your grocery budget straight through the holidays. Fall inventory at a warehouse club does not work like fall inventory at a grocery store. Most of it is a one-time buy, filed under the club's own seasonal label, and when the endcap clears, it does not come back until next year. Waiting until November means paying holiday prices for whatever is left.
Two habits make the trip pay off. Search the club's own seasonal keyword rather than the month, and bundle the shipping-only items into a single order, because Plus members get free shipping once an order clears the eligible-order threshold. Then let the freezer do the rest of the work.
