Bottom line
Many hope to get into antiquing to make extra money on the side, but it's not always easy to develop an eye for value. Unfortunately, many old clocks aren't much more than dust collectors.
If you do happen to have a rarity, its condition and how recently it's been serviced will play a role in how much you can get for it. Still, there very well could be a clock worth thousands hanging on your wall right now.
