It may be a surprise to some, but rare, vintage bakeware can sell for hundreds (sometimes thousands) more on the resale market than what they're originally worth. Here are 12 items that very well could net you a good chunk of change.

You can nab good quality CorningWare casserole dishes on eBay for just a few dollars, but rare vintage pieces have been known to go for big bucks.

One of the rare CorningWare patterns is the four-quart Spice of Life casserole dish. 

Early models have the words "L'Echalote, La Marjolaine, La Romarin" etched on the side and have been known to fetch up to $4,000 on the resale market. There's one currently on sale for a whopping $15,000 on Etsy.

Le Creuset bakeware items can go for hundreds of dollars on eBay, though the product's condition will play a role in how much it's worth.

Several of their enamel cast iron Dutch ovens are currently listed on eBay for a few hundred dollars. A product listed as "new" with bright orange coloring is currently going for $329.99, and several have recently sold for over $300.

Griswold is a big name in the cast iron skillet business, too, and because of their rarity, a Griswold in good condition can go for several hundred dollars (and beyond) online.

Currently, an antique Griswold cast iron skillet is listed for more than $400 on eBay — and similar products regularly sell for over $100.

Some Pyrex products that are decades old or feature unique, rare patterns are worth quite a bit on the resale market. What's more, you may have them lying around your kitchen.

A Pyrex mixing bowl with an "Amish Butterprint" pattern can earn you over $100 on eBay, and a set of four recently sold for $355.

Any Jadeite products you have in decent condition could net you some serious dough, but lightly used products or those that come in sets will be worth the most.

For example, a 17-piece set of stunning jadeite dishes from Fire King is currently listed for nearly $180 on eBay. A pair of vintage jadeite mugs recently went for almost $90.

Watt Pottery products are highly sought after by some collectors and their simple yet brightly decorated spaghetti bowls are known to garner big paydays on eBay.

A bowl with their unique Starflower design recently sold for nearly $130, and products in great condition could be worth more.

Blue Ridge Southern Pottery products have adorable patterns that probably remind quite a few Americans of their grandmother's China cabinets.

While individual items may not be able to be sold for much, sets have been known to sell for quite a bit. On eBay, a set of eight beautifully decorated plates recently sold for nearly $150.

A set of Pyrex primary color bowls could net a pretty penny on the resale market. In fact, a set of the bowls plus an accompanying refrigerator storage set is currently listed on Etsy for nearly $300.
