As artifacts of rock history, many different types of Elvis memorabilia are consistently valuable on the resale market. One collector even shelled out over a million dollars for one of the King's old guitars. While it is unlikely that you are sitting on a million in Elvis assets, you may be surprised how much collectibles, from old movie posters to ticket stubs, are worth today. Reselling on a site like eBay could be a simple way to make money from home.
These 10 pieces of Elvis memorabilia have sold for small fortunes.
Editor's note: All estimated market values come from eBay, unless otherwise stated.

Hair
Estimated market value: $100
Believe it or not, there is a market for strands of Elvis' hair, and just a few pieces of hair could be authenticated and resold online for $100 and beyond.
There have been several sales of the King's locks on eBay in the past month alone, so as weird as it may seem, it is worth it to keep an eye out for framed Elvis hair at local garage and estate sales.
Bottom line
If you are willing to part with it, selling Elvis memorabilia and merchandise could be a relatively simple way to lower your financial stress, as it has maintained value for nearly 50 years after the icon's passing.
However, it's important to authenticate items through a service like Certified Guaranty Company (CGC), Julien's Auctions, or Heritage Auctions. Graceland also offers authentication services for certain collectibles.
