Believe it or not, vintage snow globes can be hot commodities on the resale market, and you may even have some of these treasures in your attic or packed away in an old box of holiday decor.

Disney 10th Anniversary 'The Lion King' Snow Globe

Market value: $1,000

There are many Lion King snow globes that are not worth much on the resale market, but this special 10th anniversary edition, which features a ghostly Mufasa in the main globe, alongside mini globes with other famed characters, and, of course, Simba at the forefront, could be worth a grand.

Disney 'The Little Mermaid' King Triton Snow Globe

There are several snow globes featuring characters from Disney's "The Little Mermaid," but if you happen to have a rare King Triton globe, you could be in for a big payday.
