Making sure the products or services a company produces are up to scratch is a vital role. Quality assurance analysts provide feedback and help drive improvements. You could do this via product testing, listening to customer service calls, or analyzing data.

Plus, you can find remote roles in industries from finance to IT.

Software developer

Median hourly wage: $63.20

As more businesses undergo digital transformation, app and software developers are increasingly in demand. So much so that there's currently a global talent shortage, leading to many companies offering more flexible working opportunities.

While you might need a bachelor's degree for this type of opportunity, many roles require no previous experience. You just need to be able to test a piece of software or a mobile app fully, pushing it to the limits of its capabilities.

Median hourly wage: $67.01

Industries currently seeking marketing managers include health care, software development, and entertainment.

Financial manager

Median hourly wage: $77.74

Finance and business budgeting experts could move into the world of financial management. Guide an organization's financial strategy and help employers plan for the future.

You'll likely need a bachelor's degree and some experience, but this could open up opportunities in industries ranging from food and beverage to AI development.

Computer and information systems manager

Median hourly wage: $82.31

Opportunities in this field range from network managers to IT consultants, with many high-paid remote roles available.
