Have you heard the news about your local Starbucks?

Your favorite local coffee shop has already closed or will close this year, as the coffee giant has already shut down dozens of locations by the end of 2023.

Recently, the Starbucks Everywhere website released a list of the stores that have permanently closed. While losing a local Starbucks might help you keep more money in your wallet, it probably won’t feel like a reason to celebrate.

Bottom line

It can be tough to lose your local Starbucks, but it can also boost your bank account. Consider getting a coffee maker at home to brew your own drinks and save money.

You can also check out local independent coffee shops that may be cheaper than Starbucks. And as a bonus, you'll boost a local business.
