In 1979, PEZ released a Walt Disney Goofy dispenser. With peach skin, black features, and a red hat, it’s a simplistic model of dispenser but absolutely darling.

Plus, it can be worth quite a bit of money if you have one in good condition. One of these recently sold on eBay for $2,883.

Some PEZ dispensers are never released to the public, and those models can be worth a small fortune.

The 1982 World’s Fair Astronaut B PEZ dispenser never made it to production, and there are only two in existence.

While it’s unlikely that you’ll ever come across one of these rare finds, if you do, you’ll want to know that in 2006, one of them sold at auction for $32,205.

With the ongoing popularity of Mr. Potato Head came the need to create your own everything.

The “Make-A-Face” PEZ dispenser from the 1970s came with numerous parts and is worth quite a bit if you still have every piece.

1972 Alpine Man PEZ dispenser

The Alpine Man was the official mascot of the 1972 Olympics in Munich and a PEZ dispenser with his likeness was given out at the games.

With plump cheeks, a full mustache, a red “body” and green hat with tan feathers, this distinguished model was a limited run, so if you happen to have one now you can definitely make some money.

It was recently valued at approximately $3,000.

While elephants on PEZ dispensers aren’t a rare concept, there are certain colors and types that are.

The “Elephant with Hair” model went into production in 1970, and it is rumored that the version with an aqua face and red details is incredibly rare.

This retired vintage cutie can be purchased on eBay for $699.

1976 Olympic Snowman PEZ dispenser

Another valuable Olympic-specific release is the rare 1976 Olympic Snowman.

With a blue body and smile, the snowman has a long red nose, black charcoal eyes, and a soft red hat with ivory detail on its head.

There’s one currently listed for $699 on eBay.

It’s not just old models that can make you some money. There’s currently a 2018 limited-edition mint condition Flamingo PEZ dispenser listed on eBay for $10,000.

Available with a pink, black, green, or blue holder, these dispensers have a sitting pink flamingo on them and were only available in certain parts of Europe.

If you have a thing for animals, then you may have a Panda PEZ dispenser lying around. If it happens to have no feet and is yellow in color where pandas are usually white, then it might be the rare vintage Austrian release.

This version was released in 1973, and you could make up to $500 on one if you come across it.

The Halloween Witch was the first character head released by the company in 1957.

There were two versions that went to production, and the “B” Witch is a little more difficult to find. If you happen to have one, you can rake in $2,000.

Space Gun PEZ dispenser

If ever there were a cult classic PEZ dispenser, it’s the Space Gun issued in the 1950s. The model was built to look like a space-age raygun, and you could put a dispenser sleeve inside it to shoot out PEZ.

Often more toy than candy, this is a rare find and can be sold for as much as $1,100..

Universal Monster PEZ dispensers

If you happen to have some of the darker characters to hit PEZ’s production line, you may be in luck.

Dispensers from the 1960s and 1970s featuring Metaluna Mutant, Frankenstein, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon, among others, are worth a chunk of change when they are in fine condition.

A 1965 Frankenstein sold for $600 online.
