Taco Bell & Nintendo Instant Winner pog

In 1997, Taco Bell and Nintendo released a promotional “instant winner” pog featuring Mario. You may not be able to resell it for a fortune — but could likely score more than you got it for.

One sold for $25 on eBay in used condition.

Star Trek: The Next Generation set

Willrow Hood/Adobe Star Trek Federation starship USS Enterprise in space

If you’ve got a few dozen, or better yet, the full set of 58, of the “Star Trek: Next Generation” set that was released in 1994, you could score a payday on eBay.

A full set sold for about $25.

Michael Jordan Pogs

Mustafa/Adobe basketball player holding basketball hand

Michael Jordan was possibly the biggest sports star of the 90s, and Pogs featuring the basketball superstar can be worth a pretty penny.

How much you can get depends on which (and how many) Pogs you have and the condition. One collection featuring 54 assorted Jordan Chicago Bulls Pogs sold on eBay for $25.

In 1994, a SkyBox set featuring all your favorite characters from “The Simpsons " was released. If you happen to have the full set, which contains 50 Pogs, you could get a decent amount on the resale market.

Goosebumps Pogs

The Goosebumps books and TV show were an introduction into horror for plenty of ‘90s kids — so naturally, there’s a classic Goosebumps Pog set as well.

How much you can get for these vintage Pogs varies, but one lot, featuring 32 mint-condition Pogs, is currently listed for more than $40 on eBay.

Barbie set

monticellllo/Adobe barbie dolls of the ocean

The Barbie craze following the 2023 movie may have faded, but a Barbie-branded Pog set from 1995 can still net you some cash on the resale market.

Multiple sets, with Barbie in all her glory (and different jobs) on the front and the Barbie logo on the back, sold on eBay for about $50.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers set

Aisyaqilumar/Adobe Power Rangers action figures

It was all about the Power Rangers in the mid-90s — and if you have a complete set of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” Pogs, it could be worth a decent stack of cash.

The set, which features 36 Pogs with all the classic characters, sold for $80 on eBay.

1995 Star Wars set

rootstocks/Adobe Star Wars

Many “Star Wars” fans enjoy collecting memorabilia associated with the films, and Pogs are no exception.

In fact, sets of Topps “Star Wars” Pogs sold on eBay for upwards of $69 (bonus points and bucks, if you have the Slammers, too).

Super Nintendo Pog Slammer board

Pedro/Adobe super nintendo with control

These days, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Pog Slammer board, released when the game system launched in the ‘90s, is a rarity.

If you happen to have one, several sellers are asking upwards of $100 for the Slammer boards on eBay, and one recently sold for $95.

Beavis and Butthead gold Pog Slammer

Rick Beauregard/Adobe Pogs & Slammers

Basic “Beavis and Butthead” Pogs tend to sell for $10 to $20 on eBay. However, a rare gold pog Slammer featuring beloved and idiotic cartoon characters is worth significantly more.

One of the Slammers is currently listed on eBay for $125.

The Lion King Pogs pack

Joni/Adobe The Flower and Garden Festival flowers at EPCOT in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

“The Lion King” is one of the most beloved Disney films of the ‘90s. The Pogs aren’t exactly worth a fortune, but there’s apparently decent demand for unopened packs of Lion King Pogs.

A box featuring 24 sealed packs sold on eBay for $165.

Stüssy Pog

Rick Beauregard/Adobe Pogs & Slammers

A Stüssy Pog from 1993 is enough of a rarity that it could net some serious dough if you have one in decent condition.

The Pog, colorful and branded with the label’s signature script, is currently selling on eBay for $200.

“AC Comics” Venom Pog

Anton Ivanov Photo/Adobe comic book Venom and Spider-Man

Rumor has it that the “AC Comics” Pog, a misprint DC Comics pog with Venom on it, is such a rarity that sellers regularly ask for a few hundred dollars for one. In fact, there’s one listed on eBay right now for $550.

Jurassic Park set

Araki Illustrations/Adobe Jurassic Park logo on paper

How much you can get for Jurassic Park Pogs really depends on which ones you have. However, you could be looking at tens of thousands of dollars if you have the full SkyCaps Pog set of 54, plus six hologram Pogs and a Slammer.

One full set is currently listed for a whopping $20,000 on eBay. While you may not fetch that much, multiple sets have sold for more then $200.

Bottom line

Selling retro and nostalgic toys online can be a great way to earn an extra income.

While selling Pogs may not be one of the best side hustles, it can still net you some side cash on the resale market — or a whole lot of side cash if you happen to be sitting on the full Jurassic Park set.
