Aldi has quickly become a favorite grocery stop because of its low prices and high-quality food, but it is tentatively venturing into expanding its offerings with home goods and choice apparel pieces. Switching to Aldi for some of these purchases can help stretch your budget even further at Aldi.

It's not quite sandal weather, but it's not quite boot weather — the time of year that's perfect for something in between — and that is exactly what Aldi has with the heels available this week. They're available in sizes 7-10, the most common shoe sizes, so if they sell well, we may see more footwear options from the beloved grocery store.

Aldi seems to be responding to customer feedback on apparel, primarily focused on the material: Nobody wants more cheap polyester. The call for natural fiber options appears to have been heard, as a few items have been released to test the market. These shorts are 55% linen and 45% viscose, with an elastic waistband and front pockets.

Two tank tops for the price of less than one? Yes, please! Presumably, the camisoles have built-in bras, but they look like any other plain color tank-top one would find at Old Navy or Target. 

In the past, Aldi apparel options performed poorly, but it wasn't because of a lack of demand. Customers didn't like the fabric options, which were primarily polyester-based. 

Let's face it: The market is already oversaturated with cheap polyester clothes, so for Aldi to stand out and enter the market, it needs to focus on high-quality fabrics made from natural fibers. Natural fibers may be negotiable, and we're seeing them test the market reception for cotton and linen. 

Aldi impacted the grocery market in a big way by focusing on high-quality food at prices that let customers save significant amounts of money on groceries, and that same strategy could let them expand successfully into other markets like home goods and clothing.
