In 2024, an extra day means extra savings. Several chain restaurants and retailers have announced Leap Day specials that will be available for one day only — February 29, 2024. From free services and snacks to discounted coffees to a comped passport photo, you can save quite a bit by going on a well-planned Leap Day spree.

Here are seven restaurants and retailers offering Leap Day specials.

Guacamole lovers, rejoice! For just one day, Chipotle Rewards members won’t have to shell out any extra cash for guac. Chipotle is offering their famous guac for free to all members who use code EXTRA24 when checking out (either on the Chipotle app or through the website).

The restaurant is also running a challenge on Instagram from February 26 through Leap Day that will land 29 lucky fans free guac for a whole year.

If you’ve been curious to check out Wendy’s new breakfast items, Leap Day is the perfect time to try.

Wendy’s has a new partnership with Cinnabon and to celebrate, the restaurant is offering all customers a free Cinnabon Pull-Apart treat during breakfast hours, which run through 10:30 a.m. local time. No purchase is necessary to nab this Leap Day deal, but it’s only available while supplies last.

Donut lovers can really stock up on Krispy Kremes on Leap Day — as the shop is offering customers an Original Glazed dozen for just $2.29 with the purchase of any dozen.

If you happen to have a Leap Day birthday, the deal is even sweeter: you can pick up an Original Glazed dozen completely free of charge.

On Leap Day, Paris Baguette Rewards members can score seriously discounted coffee.

With any purchase from the bakery chain, customers will have the option to add hot or iced coffee for just 29 cents.

Participating Planet Fitness locations will be offering a free workout day for everyone, including non-members, on Leap Day.

If you’ve been considering joining your local gym, Leap Day is the perfect time to check it out (particularly if you are worried about indulging in a few too many Leap Day food freebies).

Dunkin’ is offering Leap Day deals to its rewards members, including a chance to check out a new coffee flavor. When ordering through the Dunkin’ mobile app on Leap Day, customers can try the new Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee (medium) for just $2.

Customers will also earn four times the points on app orders made on Leap Day.

Planning some international travel in the coming months? If you happen to need a new passport photo, Staples is the place to be on Leap Day (but you will want to get there early).

The office supply giant is offering free passport photos to the first 29,000 customers who come in for the Leap Day deal. You will need to sign up for the store’s free Easy Rewards program to nab the deal.

Rewards members will also earn 29 times the points on certain office and travel purchases.

The savvy shopper can save a bundle by taking advantage of Leap Day deals — from a sweet breakfast deal to discounted coffees and even a free gym day.

If you happen to have a rare Leap Day birthday, even more deals and discounts are available to you. Milk Bar, for example, is offering all Leaplings a free full-size birthday cake to celebrate the day.
