Precious Moments is a collection of teardrop-eyed figurines launched in 1978 to convey biblical messages and remains popular today. They have new arrivals launching frequently, with the latest additions scheduled for August 2025.
New figurines cost between $35 and $150, depending on their exclusivity. But older, collectible Precious Moments editions could be worth even more and be a great way to make cash on the side.

Jesus is Born
Market value: $60
The original 1978 version of this figurine (one of the Original 21) shows a shepherd and an angel heralding the birth of Jesus. Despite their age, many of the Original 21 only sell for $15-$30. However, this adorable scene can fetch between up to $119 at online auctions.
Check for the catalog number E-2012, as this indicates that it's part of the original run of figurines.
Come Let Us Adore Him
Market value: $100
Most of the Original 21 have a faith-based message, and this sweet sculpture shows a figure gazing adoringly at a baby in a manger. You should look for the original Jonathan and David mark on the base, which were the pen names of creators, Sam Butcher and business partner Bill Biel.
The "Come Let Us Adore Him" figurine can sell for between $75 and $200 in good condition.
God Loveth a Cheerful Giver
Market value: $300
A figurine is retired when the "mold" is officially broken, meaning it can no longer be produced. This is also what makes these models that much more valuable. "God Loveth a Cheerful Giver," another one of the Original 21 from 1978, depicts a little girl with a barrow of puppies. It was inspired by artist Sam Butcher's own daughter.
In good condition, this figurine fetches between $200 and $400. Look for a "Jonathan and David" mark, which shows it's a genuine early edition.

A Wonderful Dream Come True
Market value: $800
Musical Precious Moments pieces are often popular due to their novelty factor. This Disney collaboration celebrates Cinderella in her ball finery, playing the song "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes."
The base should have a sticker showing the date 2013 and the Disney Showcase emblem. It's extremely rare, with only 1,500 pieces made worldwide. Even with a small scratch, it's not uncommon to see listings for this item ranging up to $1,000.
Love One Another
Market value: $500
Of the Original 21, "Love One Another" is the only one still in production. It shows a boy and a girl sitting back-to-back on a tree stump, celebrating friendship.
Originals with the Jonathan and David mark or a Sam Butcher signature can sell for $500 or more. Marks like the Holy Trinity Triangle weren't added until 1981, so if you see a mark like this, it's a newer model.
Jesus Loves Me
Market value: $900
Another of the Original 21, this statuette has been relaunched a few times over the years. There's both a girl and a boy edition, with the girl clutching a bunny and the boy squeezing a teddy bear.
Recent sales of this model have ranged from $149 to $900, though the higher price was for a signed, limited-edition variant.
We Would See Jesus
Market value: $900
Some Precious Moments designs were exclusive to the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO. "We Would See Jesus" is one such item, featuring three kings riding a camel with teddies on its back.
Launched in 2021, this piece should have an official "Precious Moments by Enesco" stamp on the base and a number between 1 and 1,500. In good condition, it can be worth between $400 and $1,200.
A Hui Hou
Market value: $375
This Hawaiian-inspired creation depicts a girl dancing in a hula skirt, wearing a lei around her neck, as if she's at a traditional luau. The name means "Till we meet again," and the piece was produced as part of the 2005 Anniversary Hawaiian Collection.
Genuine pieces will have the name and date on the base. Because it's limited, this piece can be worth a lot of money. A signed version can fetch anything from $375 to $2,999.
