T-Mobile's New Customer Perks Are So Good We're Thinking About Switching

Wouldn't it be great to score top-tier perks the minute you sign up? T-Mobile thinks so, too, and created a rewards program that lets you take advantage of VIP perks from day one. The new program could save you some significant cash, especially if you plan on traveling this year.

Perks are nothing new for T-Mobile customers. The self-proclaimed “Un-Carrier” has always been generous to its customers, offering programs like the popular T-Mobile Tuesdays that allow subscribers to enjoy free food, discounts from participating brands, and exclusive deals every Tuesday.

They also introduced the Get Hulu On Us program paired with their Go5G Next program. T-Mobile users who opted into Go5G received free Hulu streaming for a year. The company then partnered with Apple TV+ and Netflix to give customers even more free streaming options. T-Mobile customers don’t have to choose between streaming services — they can use them all for free and even watch MLB TV.

Now, T-Mobile has upped the ante on its perks game with T-Mobile Magenta Status.

Think of the best perks from airline, hotel, and gas station loyalty programs all rolled into one. Available to new and existing T-Mobile customers, T-Mobile Magenta rewards include one-of-a-kind experiences and deals — cheap movie tickets, discounts on hotel rooms, no-charge in-flight Wi-Fi, and more. Here’s a breakdown of the rewards Magenta subscribers can look forward to.

Members who book in any of Hilton’s 22 brands worldwide receive 15% off room rates and, for a limited time, a free boost to Hilton Honors Silver status, which includes free Wi-Fi, spa discounts, and a fifth night free.

T-Mobile customers who rent a car at the airport can return their vehicles hassle-free — no need to gas up Dollar rentals or recharge a Hertz EV rental. At almost every airport across the country, T-Mobile will foot the bill for filling the gas tank or recharging the EV battery.

Every month, T-Mobile customers can claim a $5 movie ticket to a new major release for everyone on their account. Say goodbye to a $100 budget-breaker and hello to a discount family night. Movies change monthly and are always what’s hot at the box office.

T-Mobile Magenta subscribers will receive 25% off tickets to select LiveNation events, expedited entry to music and sporting events like the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Austin City Limits Festival, and Lollapalooza, plus reserved seats for the best views. Magenta subscribers will also have access to private lounges and exclusive merch giveaways.

Magenta subscribers will still have access to their favorite T-Mobile Tuesday, like discounts on Shell gas, but some of those deals are getting an upgrade — everyone’s favorite Little Ceasar’s freebie will be available every single Tuesday and plans to expand the program to include even more Tuesday deals.

Magenta Status is open to new and existing T-Mobile postpaid accounts and small businesses, but Metro by T-Mobile customers will have to upgrade to a post-paid plan to qualify.

To enroll in the Magenta Status program, download the updated T-Life app and register. The T-Life app will be the new T-Mobile hub, allowing subscribers to access all their perks, freebies, and deals, and pay their bills and perform account management all in one place.
