What is Dry January?

For Dry January, participants abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages throughout the year's first month. This usually coincides with people aiming to make healthier choices in the new year or even just creating good habits like learning to avoid wasting money

With so many non-alcoholic drink options, this annual campaign is a great way to try something new while enjoying delicious beverages like Aldi's new Hop Water.

Aldi’s Hop Water: A non-alcoholic alternative

So, what is Aldi’s new Hop Water? This sparkling non-alcoholic drink is made with “bold hops and mood-boosting ingredients” for a light and crisp taste.

It comes in five different flavors — classic, mango, blood orange, lime, and peach. Not only do these drinks lack alcohol, but they also have no calories, carbs, or sugar. You can now, as of January 3rd, find these drinks in stores at your local Aldi.

What customers are saying

For $7.99, you can grab a six-pack of Hop Water in one flavor variety. Some customers compare the flavor to Spindrift sparkling water, and many say they can’t justify the hefty price tag at this usually affordable superstore.

While a similar 12-pack of sparkling water from Aldi costs around $4, it doesn’t have the same “hop” flavor as this new product. This drink also claims to boast some health and mood benefits, which is a plus for lowering financial stress.

Bottom line

If you enjoy the flavor of hops and sparkling water drinks, grabbing a pack of this Hop Water might be worth a try. It’s a great way to commemorate Dry January while sticking to your healthier New Year’s resolutions. Will you be trying out this Hop Water during your next Aldi run?
