What I learned from playing
Editor's note
AviaGames, the developer of this game, is currently involved in a class action lawsuit that alleges players were duped into playing against bots instead of being matched up against other human players. While the outcome of this case hasn't been decided, we're hesitant to recommend this game and others by this developer for the time being. Bingo Cash is a similar option to consider.- Can you make money playing Bingo Clash? Yes, you can win real cash prizes, though I found the earning potential was limited when I started out. As I moved up levels, higher-paying tournaments became available.
- How do payouts work? You can withdraw winnings through PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay, with a $5 minimum withdrawal. However, your bonus cash can't be withdrawn; it can only be used to play more games.
- How do you start playing? Bingo Clash was easy to install and start playing, and it's available for both iOS and Samsung devices (but you can't get it in Google Play).
- Is Bingo Clash hard? The quick reaction time can make this game difficult when first starting out. As a bingo rookie, it took me a few games to get the hang of rapidly tapping the called numbers on my screen.
Is Bingo Clash legit?
Yes, Bingo Clash is a legitimate gaming app with a large active user base. You can earn real money by competing in — and winning — tournaments and matches against other human players, though you'll need to pay an entry fee to play in many tournaments.
Who can use Bingo Clash?
Bingo Clash allows you to play with real money, so you must be 18 or older to download it. In addition, cash games aren't allowed in these states:
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- Delaware
- Louisiana
- Montana
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- Vermont

Bingo Clash game modes
- Ticket matches: These games only use tickets as the entry fee. I played this the most as I got the hang of the game. You're matched up against other players in real time. While I played, I saw entry fees that ranged from 300 to 8,000 tickets. Some of these ticket matches have cash prizes, so it's possible to earn a few dollars without depositing your money.
- Tournaments, cash matches, and events: In these cash entry games, you compete against two or more players, depending on the game. I saw prize pools ranging from $1.50 to $2,000, with entry fees ranging from 2,000 tickets to $60. You have the potential to win a much larger amount in these games, but you also have to beat more players. For example, I saw a tournament with a $220 prize pool that had 32 players.
Other ways to earn
- Referrals: For each friend you successfully invite to play the game, you receive specific rewards. These rewards vary, but you can typically expect to receive coins, gems, or other in-game items.
- Daily prizes: The app offers daily gifts with extra bonuses if you log in two or more days in a row.
- Prize wheel spins: You can spin the "Fortuity Wheel" for a shot at free tickets and cash prizes.
- Lucky cards and lucky boxes: These are periodic prizes that appear in the app, usually offering tickets as prizes.
How power-ups work
There are three types of power-ups, and you receive a random one for every two correct daubs that you place on the board. You can have two power-ups in your "queue" (the two small circles to the left of the bingo button) at any time.
- Gimme More: You can choose between three options or a mystery square to daub.
- Diamond: Daub any square of your choice.
- X2: Any points you earn are worth double for five seconds.
This added a new layer to the game and took a little getting used to, but the power-ups boosted my score quite a bit when I used them strategically.
For example, when I received an X2 power-up, I waited until I received a Diamond before I used the X2. This way, I received double points for at least one daub when I used the Diamond.
My gameplay experience with Bingo Clash
After choosing an avatar and entering a username, I played a tutorial game and then my first real match. The core gameplay of daubing (or clicking) numbers is simple enough, but it requires quick reaction times and focus to daub numbers as they appear.
If your response time lags, you'll miss out on potential bingos. While fun, I did find myself getting a bit tense during some matches, worrying about the timer and missing numbers.
Here are some of the game basics:
- Each match is two minutes long, and the goal is to get as many bingos as possible.
- Daub your squares quickly to earn a speed bonus.
- You can use power-ups to daub bonus squares — you earn one power-up per two correct daubs, and you can have up to two power-ups at once.
- If you daub incorrectly or press "bingo" when you don't have it, you'll receive a score penalty.
I liked that the app offered a variety of game modes, so I could choose between head-to-head 1v1 matches and larger tournament games. However, the ticket-based progression got a bit tedious, and it takes winning several lower-stakes games to build up enough money for cash tournaments if you don't want to deposit your own money.
How much money can you make?
The money-making potential feels fairly limited when you're starting out. Prizes for the lowest cash games were $1 with a $0.70 entry fee. Given Bingo Clash's cut and the competition, consistently profiting at those levels seemed difficult.
However, as I earned more bonus cash and tickets, higher-stakes games opened up with bigger potential prize pools. This is where the real money-making opportunities exist for skilled players. I wasn't able to deposit money or play cash tournaments since I live in South Carolina, but I found the free games enjoyable.
How to withdraw cash
Requesting a payout through PayPal is straightforward. If your cash balance is over $5, you can withdraw to your PayPal account with just a few taps.
- Go to the account tab in the app
- Select the withdraw option
- Fill out information about yourself to verify your identity
- Transfer funds to your account using PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Visa
Any withdrawal under $10 is subject to a $1 processing fee, so I recommend waiting until you reach the $10 threshold. It can take up to 15 days to complete your withdrawal and receive funds, but this is actually faster than many other gaming apps.
Keep in mind:
Bonus cash can’t be withdrawn — it can only be used to participate in more games. The app will tell you how much bonus cash and how much actual cash you have when you select “withdraw."Bingo Clash reviews and complaints
The 112,000+ reviews for Bingo Clash in the App Store were primarily positive. Users frequently praised the fun gameplay and the opportunities to win real money. Complaints tended to focus on the low payouts for beginners and bots or highly-skilled players dominating the higher-stakes matches, as well as frustration with bonus cash not being redeemable. For instance, user Dop33y1 says, "Additionally, you cannot cash out the money you win, there is some type of loophole they use, so you can’t cash out. I had $32 all won, and they only let me cash out $18 of that. Don’t buy into the whole winning cash thing because even if you do, it’s really not all yours."
My experience aligned with both the positive and negative feedback. While I had a good time with the core game, consistently profiting seemed like it'd be quite difficult without a fair amount of investment and highly tuned skills.
I did appreciate the uninterrupted gaming experience without advertisements, but I found the number of pop-ups a bit irritating. I had to click out of at least four each time I opened the app.
Bingo Clash alternatives
If playing isn’t for you, no worries. Unlike the classic bingo games, Bingo Clash actually takes some skill to win consistently. You have to be able to think and react quickly, which won’t be for everyone. Fortunately, there are other options for learning how to make money in your free time.
Bingo Cash
If you want to stick with a fun bingo game but you're nervous about the developer Avia, check out Bingo Cash. It's a mobile app game available in the App Store or Samsung Galaxy Store, and it's one of the best cash bingo games we've tried because it's engaging and offers a lot of different ways to play with decent payouts. If you learn how to play this fast-paced game and become used to how the boosters and bonuses work, you could make respectable money.

Scrambly
If you’d rather have more options for earning money in your spare time and/or don't want to pay to enter cash tournaments, consider Scrambly. This platform pays you to test out mobile games, take surveys, download apps, and more. It’s free to join and use, and it's available as a mobile app for Android users through Google Play. It can be accessed through your browser if you have an Apple phone, and you can then follow instructions to download apps through the platform. We like Scrambly more than other cash rewards apps because it's easy to use and reliable, with pretty good earning potential.

Solitaire Cash
If you’re more interested in playing solitaire than bingo, you might prefer Solitaire Cash. Similar to Bingo Clash, this game allows you to play for free, but you can also win (and lose) real money. It’s a skill-based card game, which means your chances of earning money are likely to be higher if you frequently play Solitaire. Like Bingo Clash, it's compatible with iOS and Samsung devices.

FAQs
Is Bingo Clash legit?
Yes, Bingo Clash is legit. I was a bit skeptical about whether an app could actually let you win real cash just for playing bingo, but after playing the game myself, I saw cash games and tournaments with real prize pools that you can win and then withdraw through PayPal.
However, you'll have to deposit some of your own money in order to play cash tournaments. If you aren't comfortable with that, check out our list of legit game apps for other options.
How do you score high in Bingo Clash?
You score high in Bingo Clash if you can think and daub, or click, fast. It’s a fast-paced game, so I had to find the numbers on my board quickly in order to score high. The quicker I tapped the correct number, the more my boost bar filled up.
This gave me more power-ups to unlock more numbers and get more bingos. I had to be careful not to get ahead of myself, though, since I received a score penalty if I pressed bingo when I didn't have it or daubed the incorrect number.
Does Bingo Clash really pay money?
Yes, Bingo Clash does pay real money. Some games have prize pools of $75 or more, but you'll likely have to spend some of your own money to compete if you want to make money with this app.
Bottom line
Bingo Clash delivers a fun, fast-paced take on bingo that lets you buy into real-money tournaments and cash games. However, I found that consistently making money requires a sharp skill set that may take time to develop through regular play.
For casual bingo fans just looking for fun, the free game modes provide plenty of entertainment. But if you're looking for a more dependable source of cash, other side hustles may be better options.
Right now you could 13X your money — add $10 and get a $5 bonus to use towards tournaments.
