Many factors contribute to the cost of real estate in any area, and it’s not always clear why some homes sell for so much more than others.

To find out how the market is doing, we took to Zillow to find out the most expensive house sold in each state so far in 2023 (as of October).

Whether you’re looking for ways to pay rent or ready to make an offer on a house, it’s interesting to know what people in your area are willing to pay for high-end luxury and the perfect view.

5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 7,214 square feet

If you love boldly patterned wallpaper and refined legacy in every room of the home, you may appreciate this property on Overhill Road in Birmingham.

The only thing better than the wood-paneled library is the backyard oasis waiting for you each morning as you enjoy a cup of coffee.

4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 3,974 square feet
