Huntington Home Fall Icon Timber Wick Candle

Price: $6.99

It looks like an acorn, but the top comes off to reveal a timber-wick candle in the "fall morning" scent. Wood wicks add a crackling, campfire feel to home candles, perfect for chilly fall evenings. The candles are also available in a mushroom shape with a "mahogany woods" scent or in a pumpkin shape with a cinnamon pumpkin scent.

Huntington Home Pumpkin Cream Cookie Candle

Price: $4.49

The Pumpkin Cream Cookie candle is back this year, and it's likely to fly off the shelves even faster than last year. The scent is the perfect mixture of pumpkin and cream, smelling like a pumpkin cream cheese cupcake rather than a pumpkin spice latte.

Unfortunately, Aldi has downgraded its three-wick candles to two-wick candles - and customers are unhappy about the change. It's undoubtedly a form of "shrinkflation" to avoid raising the price, but the move severely reduces the candle's quality. The third wick provided an even burn that melted the wax consistently, and the new double wick didn't create enough heat to cover the full surface area, leaving a wall of wax around the wicks. They are still the best candle for the price but be prepared for that difference from last year.

Huntington Home Bowl Fillers

Price: $4.99

Get eight tiny woven mushrooms and acorns or eight tiny wooden pumpkins in orange and ivory for decorative bowl or basket fillers. They're perfect for replacing flowers with a more fall-themed option as summer ends.

Huntington Home Fall Tray Objects

Price: 4.99

Grab an assorted variety of fall-themed objects that include gnomes, mushrooms, wooden beads, maple leaves, pumpkins, and more. The sets come in groups of four, and at this price, you might be tempted to get them all.

Huntington Home Fall Gnome

Price: $8.99

These festive plush gnomes are about 20 inches tall and look adorable tucked into corners or on top of bookshelves. Best of all, they don't have a weird set of rules or expectations like a certain elf replacing the gnomes on a shelf during winter holidays.

Huntington Home Fall Mini Gnome

Price: $4.99

Grab a little buddy to go with the full-size gnomes for extra fun. These smaller versions are still 16 inches tall and offer different gnomes to add to your collection. If you love gnomes, you'll have trouble resisting all of these little cuties!

Bottom line

The weekly Aldi Finds are still the best place to find deals, and their seasonal products for fall include new options and returning favorites that will excite shoppers to hit the grocery store this week.

Aldi is one of the few grocery chains that have experienced very few changes in the past few years while competitors keep raising prices.

However, there are a few creeping quality changes now and then—such as reducing the number of candle wicks in the Huntington Home line. This isn't a huge impact on consumers looking for ways to tackle high grocery costs, but it's still a change for the worse that current customers don't like.
