Kirkland Signature Chicken Bakes

Price: $15.20

The Kirkland Signature Chicken Bakes may be a good option at the food court, but you should probably skip the frozen version, which is packed with sodium.

Consumers aren’t always a fan of the taste either. “Frozen chicken bake which tastes nothing like the ones at the food court,” said Redditor hawaii50lover, while Reddit user EpisodicDoleWhip simply said, “I hate the chicken bake. There I said it.”

Kirkland Signature Breakfast Sandwich

Price: $18.71

Start your morning off with Kirkland Signature Breakfast Sandwich from the frozen section of your favorite Costco, but keep an eye on the label.

The sandwiches feature bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. They sound delicious but are also packed with 33% of your daily sodium intake and a whopping 60% of your daily recommended saturated fat intake.

Ajinomoto Shoyu Ramen

Price: $19.88

Ajinomoto Shoyu Ramen bowls are packed with noodles, chicken, and veggies that you can heat up straight from your freezer.

But some Reddit users believe recent changes have made the frozen meal a dud. “The chicken is now cubed instead of sliced and tastes god-awful,” said Redditor Buildintotrains.

Reddit user Tryingnottomessup also noted the switch was a bad idea. “It was a nice simple quick go-to meal, but they messed it up for sure.”

Kirkland Signature Chicken Breasts

Kirkland Signature Chicken Breasts are a good option from the frozen section, but some customers have noticed a change in the texture in recent months and aren’t alone.

Commercially farmed chickens may be growing too fast, causing changes in texture and making the Kirkland Signature version, which isn’t organic, taste different.

Bottom line

Costco can be a good option if you’re looking for easy frozen meals when you’re stocking up and save on essentials, but not all the food in the frozen section is a good choice.

The good news is that Costco has a generous return policy. You can return items if you try something you’re not satisfied with. And yes, the return policy does include food you’ve already opened.
