Turkey legs are a Disney staple and are available at all four parks, but they are most commonly eaten at Magic Kingdom. They’re oversized and smoked, and are a satisfying snack that can tide you over until your next meal.

Dole Whips are favorite desserts for Disney fans. Served at both Aloha Aisle in Magic Kingdom and at the Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Resort, a Dole Whip is pineapple soft-serve ice cream. The classic Dole Whip is just $4.99, but you can get different versions for an additional cost, such as a Dole Whip swirled with vanilla ice cream or a Dole Whip with rum.

The white chocolate “Chip” cup is shaped like Chip from Beauty and the Beast. Made out of white chocolate, it’s filled with the grey stuff, a rich mousse, and topped with edible pearls.

LeFou’s Brew — named after Gaston’s sidekick in Beauty and the Beast — is a refreshing drink when you’re dealing with a Florida summer. It's frozen apple juice with toasted marshmallows, and passion fruit and mango foam. You can get it in a regular cup or splurge on a souvenir stein.

Topolino Terrace is located within Riviera Resort, Disney’s newest addition to the Epcot Resort area. Offering French and Italian cuisine, the restaurant has a spectacular view of the parks. Its filet mignon is a signature dish served with a potato puree, pickled scallions, and a guanciale shallot jam.

Important to note: Topolino Terrace is one of the few Disney restaurants that has a dress code. Tank tops, flip flops, swimsuit coverups and hats are not permitted.

For Star Wars fans, Galaxy’s Edge is a must-see. Those who loved the films will have to go to the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge within Hollywood Studios to try the blue milk — Luke Skywalker’s beverage of choice in A New Hope. Despite its name, it’s a perfect drink for a hot day. Blue milk (green milk is also available) is a frosty drink made out of coconut and rice milk, so you can enjoy it even if you have a dairy intolerance.

Although the Mickey waffle is a favorite of children, adults may find themselves ordering it again and again. Mickey waffles are available in all of the Disney World resort hotels, and are served with powdered sugar, fruit, or maple syrup. Several locations also offer a dessert version with ice cream.

The price is dependent on where you go and what you get with your waffles. For example, a basic waffle platter with bacon at the All-Star Music Resort is $9.99, while waffles served with biscuits, sausage gravy, and eggs is $22 at Whispering Canyon Cafe within the Wilderness Lodge.

You can’t go wrong with a classic. The Mickey ice cream bar is available in all of the parks. With vanilla ice cream covered in a hard chocolate shell, it’s the perfect quick, refreshing treat.

For individuals with more daring palettes — or who want a great photo for social media — the whole-fried fish at Tiffin’s in Animal Kingdom is an excellent choice. The fish is fried and served whole, making for an incredible presentation. It’s served with fermented black bean sauce and Thai green papaya slaw.

It’s a common myth that there is no liquor served at Disney World, but that’s not true. You can find beer, wine, and cocktails while in Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom. In Magic Kingdom, you can only purchase beer and wine.

The Rum Blossom is a favorite drink at Pongu Pongu in the land of Pandora within Animal Kingdom. It contains rum with layers of apple and desert pear limeade, and is topped with passion fruit boba balls.

California Grill is known for its delicious food, but many people book it solely for the view. Located within the Contemporary Resort, California Grill overlooks Magic Kingdom, and gives you a prime spot for the nightly fireworks display. Its most famous dessert is its EARidescent Grand Marnier soufflé, made with macerated Florida citrus.

The California Grill is definitely a splurge, so if you’re saving for an epic vacation, make sure you budget accordingly.

Space 220 is Disney’s newest — and most difficult to book — restaurant. You’ll feel like you’re in space with the restaurant’s celestial panoramic views, and you can enjoy out-of-this-world meals and cocktails. One of the restaurant’s specialties is the Galactic Lobster Globe, a lobster salad with quinoa, avocado, citrus dressing, and crispy wonton.

Cost: $18 (separate from prix fixe menu)

Where to find it: Space 220, Epcot

If you love all things Disney, you know that dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table is a must. It’s a table service restaurant within Cinderella’s castle, and overlooks FantasyLand. During your meal, you’ll be visited by some of Disney’s most famous princesses, including Cinderella, Snow White, and Ariel.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion, request the Signature Slipper and Crown dessert. You’ll get a chocolate slipper and crown filled with mousse; it’s a favorite choice for those celebrating engagements or anniversaries.

Important to note: The Signature Slipper and Crown dessert is not listed on the main menu. It’s a specialty item that must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance by calling 407-827-2253.
