Filing deadline: March 1

Apple recently settled a lawsuit alleging that it misled consumers about whether they would be able to share app subscriptions that they purchased while part of an Apple Family Sharing plan with family members.

The settlement was for $25 million. You could be eligible for up to $30 if you subscribed to an app via the Apple Store between June 21, 2015, and Jan. 30, 2019.

To qualify, you and at least one other family member must have been part of an Apple Family Sharing group during the period.

Beef processors (various companies)

Filing deadline: March 4

According to this lawsuit, a variety of major beef processors conspired to raise beef prices above the fair market rate over a period of several years. As a result, direct purchasers who bought from Tyson, Cargill, National Beef, or JBS allegedly were unjustly overcharged.

If you bought case-ready beef or boxed beef directly from a major beef processor in the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2015, and Feb. 10, 2022, you could qualify for a portion of the settlement.

Credit Karma

Filing deadline: March 4

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), hundreds of thousands of consumers tried to apply for credit based on a Credit Karma offer stating they were either pre-approved for a loan or had a 90% chance of approval.

Individuals were then denied the credit they applied for, which, in some cases, caused their credit scores to drop.

You could be eligible for a cash payout if you have a valid claim. Although Credit Karma settled for $3 million, it’s unclear what individual payouts will total.
