Maximizing your redemptions

Rewards come in the form of Amazon Rewards points. You can apply your points toward Amazon.com and Amazon Business purchases or toward a charge on your credit card statement. Points are worth roughly 1 cent a piece, and they don’t expire as long as your account is open.

If you choose to redeem your points for Amazon purchases, you can opt to pay a portion of your purchase balance with points and put a portion on your Amazon Business American Express Card. When you use your points on Amazon, minimum and maximum amounts apply, but those amounts are not published online. Amazon will let you know about any restrictions before you make your purchase.

To use your points toward charges on your statement, you’ll need to have at least 1,000 points in your account.
