Aldi Opened 9 Stores In July: Is One Near You?

While there are nearly 2,400 Aldi locations in the US, the store isn’t planning on slowing down: It’s set to open at least 800 more stores in the next few years.

If you haven’t been able to take advantage of Aldi’s popular shopping hacks yet, keep reading to find out if your city is among those getting an Aldi this summer.

Minnesota added an additional Aldi on July 11, bringing the state’s total number of Aldi locations to 78. Customers can now visit the new store at 7992 Sunwood Drive NW, just across the freeway from the Mississippi River.

Instead of visiting another Aldi in the Twin Cities area, Ramsey residents can simply swing by their own store to shop for affordable picnic supplies on their way to the Mississippi West Regional Park.

Tennessee was also lucky enough to get an additional Aldi on July 11, this one located at 2235 U.S. Highway 411 South.

Tennessee now has a grand total of 62 stores, five of which are located in Nashville. (Most other Tennessee cities with an Aldi have just one apiece.)

Cockeysville’s first-ever Aldi opened Thursday, July 18 at 9978 York Rd.

But if you don’t have the time to visit in person, don’t worry. Like most mainstream grocery stores, Aldi offers free online shopping with curbside pickup.

With the addition of a new store on July 18, Ohio now has a whopping 164 Aldi locations — more than any other state but Illinois (which has 216 locations) and Florida (which has 218).

Warrensville Heights residents can visit the state’s newest Aldi at 4087 Richmond Road.

Maryland gained a second new Aldi location on July 25, this one at 737 South Frederick Avenue. Thanks to the two new stores, Maryland will end the month with a total of 67 separate Aldi locations, three of them in Gaithersburg.

Michigan is one of only a handful of states to have over 100 Aldis. The Monroe store opening at 1270 North Telegraph Road on July 25 was the city’s second location — the first is located down the road at 1850 North Telegraph Road.

La Crosse acquired its very first Aldi store on July 25 at 4344 Mormon Coulee Road.

The store opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, golden ticket giveaways, free tote bags, and $500 gift card opportunities.

The Hannibal, Missouri store isn’t a new location, but it’s been undergoing a remodel for the last few months.

Instead of driving to another of the state’s 98 Aldi shops, Hannibal residents can once again visit their preferred store at 4419 McMasters Avenue.

The Lone Star State is home to over 120 Aldi locations, and it’s gaining yet another store on August 1. Palestine residents can enjoy Aldi’s incredible deals, fresh produce, and high-quality goods at 2117 South Loop 256.

Aldi is a great place to shop if you’re trying to stick with a budget so you don’t have to struggle financially, so check your local area to see if you can save some extra cash at an Aldi near you.
