What I learned from my testing
- SurveyWorld is a survey aggregator that connects you with other survey companies.
- While you sign up through SurveyWorld, it doesn’t administer tests itself.
- You might have to start many surveys before you find one you’re qualified to complete.
- While SurveyWorld says you can make as much as $300 per month, this will likely take a lot of time, provided you’re even eligible for enough surveys.
- While SurveyWorld advertises you can also get sweepstakes entries and redeem rewards for cash, I only saw the option to cash out for select gift cards.
Is SurveyWorld legit?
Understandably, people may question the legitimacy of SurveyWorld since its website doesn’t provide much information about how the company works. It just promises rewards for sharing your opinion and provides three different buttons driving you to sign up.
While SurveyWorld is a legitimate website, it isn’t an actual survey company but rather a survey aggregator that directs you to other companies’ surveys. It partners with Cint, a global research company which provides many of the surveys found on the platform’s dashboard. I saw options paying $0.25 to almost $3 for 10 to 35 minutes of my time. Since these surveys are through other companies’ websites, SurveyWorld will reroute you if you decide to take one.
Although your SurveyWorld dashboard may list several surveys you supposedly qualify for, you won’t know if you actually do until you’re taking the survey. Once you get through the first four or five questions, the platform will notify you if you don’t qualify, but not say exactly why. Then, it will automatically find another survey that may be more suitable. However, you might also not qualify for the next survey, and the system will look for another one again.
I went through this six or seven times until I finally got matched with a survey I qualified for and could complete to earn a whopping $0.50. Many users have complained about this runaround and claimed SurveyWorld is a “waste of time” after they were in the middle of taking a survey and told they weren’t a good fit. This frustration seems to be one of the main reasons SurveyWorld has a poor rating of 2.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot.
For example, the user Keith Simmons wrote this 1-star review: “Absolute waste of time. It did not matter how I answered in any of the qualifying/pre-survey questions, I did not qualify. I honestly think, all they are after is your personal details. Once they have those details, all paths lead to the same place… Sorry you do not appear to qualify for this survey.”

SurveyWorld is an online survey platform that connects research companies with users who can earn money and rewards, such as gift cards, for taking surveys. However, it’s a little confusing as to who actually owns SurveyWorld.
SurveyWorld’s privacy policy and its Facebook page mention the Netherlands-based e-Bron Marketing. But once you sign up, the Lithuanian market research company Syno International operates your dashboard.
SurveyWorld also connects you with independent third-party survey companies like Branded Surveys and LifePoint. You’ll have to register separately with each of these companies and use their websites to access surveys, which you can do without joining SurveyWorld.
My experience using SurveyWorld
Signing up for SurveyWorld was free and easy. All I had to do was indicate my gender, birth date, and email address. After doing this, SurveyWorld suggested three different survey companies with which I “qualified” to work. I was able to select individual companies to work with or all of them at once.
The three survey companies shown were Branded Surveys, Toluna Influencers, and LifePoints. To take surveys and earn money, I had to sign up separately on each of these sites and provide my email address. Since doing this, I’ve received emails from each company almost daily.
Each site has different payout methods, processing fees, and required minimum withdrawal amounts. They also offer varying rewards for registering. Toluna gave me 500 points, Branded Surveys gave me 50 points, and LifePoints gave me 10 points.
SurveyWorld also invited me to become part of Unlock Surveys. However, I got rejected after I entered my gender, birth date, state, education level, and income.
SurveyWorld has its own survey dashboard where you can access surveys from third-party companies. However, it’s hard to find. After you sign up, there’s no link to sign in on the SurveyWorld.me website. To log in to the dashboard, you must go through one of the emails that SurveyWorld sends you after registering.
Those emails will take you to the SurveyWorld Syno International panel page where you can log in and get to a dashboard that lists several surveys you can take to earn cash.
However, I was mistaken in thinking I qualified for the surveys shown on my dashboard. I would be four or five questions into a survey when I got a notification that I didn’t qualify. The platform would automatically find me a new survey, but it kicked me out again after I answered a couple of questions. I only qualified for one out of every five or six surveys I attempted.
How to get the most out of SurveyWorld
The key to getting the most out of SurveyWorld is to fill out your profile on the site as thoroughly as possible. This can take quite a while because there are 15 different categories on your profile, and each one has up to 46 questions for you to answer.
The platform claims that the more questions you answer, the more survey invitations you’ll receive. However, there are no guarantees that you’ll qualify enough to finish those surveys and earn money.
How much money can you make?
SurveyWorld claims you can make as much as $300 per month ($0.50 to $12 per survey), depending on your profile and the number of available surveys. However, earning that much will take a lot of time, especially since you’ll probably only qualify for a quarter of the surveys you attempt to take. Plus, the surveys I saw on my dashboard paid on the low side of SurveyWorld’s advertised range.
This survey platform isn’t among the best side hustles if you want to make a decent amount of money. After a few hours on the site, I only made $1 because I ended up not qualifying for most of the surveys I attempted.
At best, taking surveys online may be a good way to earn a few gift cards. Plus, if you’re trying to find something more productive to do on your phone than scrolling through social media, you may be able to at least earn a few bucks by spending time taking surveys.
Withdrawing your earnings
Figuring out how to withdraw your earnings on SurveyWorld is also confusing. While the signup site claims you can earn gift cards and cash, from the looks of the Rewards section of the user dashboard, only gift cards are available.
You can access the gift cards if you have enough money in your account balance. The minimum gift card amount I saw was $2. Some example companies include Best Buy, Starbucks, Apple, T.J.Maxx, and T-Mobile.
SurveyWorld doesn’t provide any information on whether there are fees for payouts. It sends rewards via email within three days. Since I only had $1 in my account, I couldn’t receive any gift cards.
What are other SurveyWorld users saying?
Many people who have used SurveyWorld don’t have a lot of nice things to say about the site on Trustpilot, where the platform has a poor rating of 2.4 out of 5. The most common complaints are about the confusing website and problems with more survey denials than qualifications.
Like me, some users had difficulties finding out where to sign into the survey platform after joining. The login page exists but is hard to find since it requires visiting a website different from SurveyWorld.me.
The 2-star review from the user rohan.young said, “I've completed a few surveys no problems but I can't then sign in, I can only access sign up options so I have no way of tracking or changing any information and i find this concerning. Please could you clarify.”
Similarly, the user Julie McCabe’s 1-star review said, “I qualified for several surveys which I completed but there's no account portal to see how much you've earned or how to claim. Seems like I've wasted my time.”
However, some other Trustpilot users thought the platform was easy to use and were happy with the surveys. The user Dexter M’s 5-star review said, “Really easy process, just sign up, complete surveys and earn rewards. Already did multiple surveys and will continue to do so!”
Alternatives to SurveyWorld
SurveyWorld isn’t one of the best survey sites available, and some alternative sites may be more straightforward and still offer ways to make cash in your free time. You can easily access survey sites like Branded Surveys and LifePoint without going through SurveyWorld. Here are three other options for you to explore.
InboxDollars
InboxDollars offers several ways for you to earn rewards besides just taking surveys. For example, you can also earn by playing games, watching videos, participating in cash offers, shopping online, and reading emails.
The $10 to $15 minimum withdrawal amount is higher than SurveyWorld, but with the various ways you can earn money, it’s easier to reach that minimum. Plus, you can choose a prepaid Visa card, various gift cards, or PayPal for your payout method.

Survey Junkie
Like SurveyWorld, Survey Junkie is a platform you can use to earn money by participating in surveys. However, it has a much better reputation with users with a 4.1 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot. Survey Junkie’s website provides a ton of information about how it works and how users receive rewards. It even has a mobile app where you can access surveys.
This platform has a $5 minimum redemption requirement, and you can choose to get cash (bank transfer or PayPal) and various gift cards.

Prime Opinion
Prime Opinion is a survey site that claims to pay better than competitors, sometimes even “150% more for the same surveys.” According to the platform, you can cash out with $5 in earnings, though the minimum withdrawal amount can depend on the welcome bonus you get.
You can have the cash you earn deposited into your PayPal or bank account within hours. Prime Opinion also lets you opt for a gift card or charitable donation.
FAQs
Is SurveyWorld safe to use?
Yes, SurveyWorld is safe to use. It’s free to sign up, and the company associated with the site, e-Bron Marketing, ensures your personal information is treated confidentially. That being said, the site may share your personal data with third parties. So, if you’re concerned about this, you might want to avoid signing up for SurveyWorld.
How do you join SurveyWorld?
You can sign up through the SurveyWorld.me website. However, to sign in, access the survey dashboard, and see how much you’ve earned, you’ll need to follow the link mailed to you after you join or go directly to the SurveyWorld Syno International panel page.
Which survey companies does SurveyWorld work with?
Many surveys on SurveyWorld come from Cint and could be for numerous brands. One survey I got was from J.D. Power. When you sign up, the platform also connects you with third-party survey companies like Branded Surveys, LifePoint, Toluna Influencers, and Unlock Surveys.
Bottom line
SurveyWorld can be a starting point if you’re curious about making a little extra cash with online surveys, but it’s far from perfect. Sure, it’s free to sign up, and it connects you to legitimate survey companies, but the constant disqualifications and confusing navigation of the website can get frustrating quickly.
If you’re just looking for something casual to do in your spare time, SurveyWorld might work for you — just don’t expect to make much money. For a better experience, you might want to skip SurveyWorld and try more straightforward platforms like InboxDollars, Survey Junkie, or Prime Opinion. They’re easier to use and can save you a lot of hassle.
Ultimately, SurveyWorld is okay, but there are better options if you’re serious about finding legit ways to make some extra cash.
