When streaming services like Netflix first hit the market, they offered an affordable alternative to cable television. However, with all the different streaming services that have emerged over the years, including those for streaming music, you may be spending a fortune on subscriptions.
I try to keep my streaming costs down by only subscribing to a couple services at a time. Another way to help make streaming more affordable is by paying your streaming bill with a credit card that gives you cash back or rewards points for every dollar you spend or a streaming credit for purchases with certain streamers.
We've examined several credit cards that offer cash back or rewards points for streaming services, and here are our choices for the best credit cards that have Apple TV, other streaming, and music benefits.

We also looked for streaming-specific benefits like statement credits and considered other factors that are important to look at when picking a credit card, like introductory APRs, annual fees, other fees, and bonus offers.

Streaming credits vs. earning points on streaming services
Cards with a built-in streaming credit are great. It's nice to know that using the Blue Cash Preferred will cover most of your Disney+ subscription fee every month, for example.
But, if you've subscribed to several TV or music streaming services at once, it could be more beneficial to use a card that earns bonus rewards for streaming spending across platforms.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred, for example, has an elevated earn rate that applies to a range of services, so you could earn something back on your Netflix subscription, your Spotify subscription, and your Disney+ subscription.
Another card to consider that didn't make our list if you want to earn cash back on streaming is the Prime Visa. If you're a fan of Amazon's streaming library, the card earns 5% on Amazon.com, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and Chase Travel purchases with an eligible Prime membership including Prime Video subscriptions.
